Indeed, we do miss him. The way he and Alonso retain the ball and distribute it, is key to buiding our attacks.

BUT the fact remains that Aggers' injuries are a huge worry for us. No doubting his quality, but the man who is to replace Sami has probably already missed more LFC matches than Sami ever did in his LFC career.

      Agree

That makes signing a centre half in Jan even more important.

<From forza.dk - a danish football site> Freely tranlated and proberly filled with spelling errors, however the meaning should prevail.

Last Monday, Daniel Agger travelled to Denmark and his former club Brøndby, where he visited their doctor Eilif Larsen, who gave his expert-opinion on Aggers complicated injury, which has plagued Agger for 13 weeks.

The Brøndby Doctor could not give an exact estimate on Aggers injury:

        - "This kind of injury takes longer than what one normally thinks. We also know it from the world of ballet. If you get the injury, it is going to keep you out a long time. And in general this kind of injurys time factor tends to be underestimatet."

The doctor with speciality in knee- and foot injuries blames the modern footballboots for Aggers pain:

        - "There can be many factors that releases the injury, but the boots are different today. A boot used to be a boot! You diden't get the amount of stress up through the foot as you do today."

Aggers Agent Per Steffensen has no news on the injury and says it is up to LFC to comment on it.

        --------

Guess it is still a mystery how long it is going to take, doesen't seem like any doctor can give a timeframe for the injury. Good thing Agger went to DK to get that expert opinion
