I've seen us play a lot worse this season. I think Momo was very wasteful with the ball and was Lucas in some patches, but Momo doesn't give a lot more IMO. You could see that Momo wanted to win but I feel he hasn't a place in the squad for next year.

Lampard was lucky with a deflection, Hard lines for Liverpool for me.

Negatives from that game, Momo continues to be a bit ****, Jack is not quite there yet and we lost, Positives, we lost in the beer cup !! Xabi is back .. and our understudy goalie looked quite good out there ...

Always a bummer to lose to Chelsea but we take this competition far too seriously as far as i am concerned .. happy to be out of it

Dissapointing isn't it. I'm actually not to down beat though because some of our younger players like Lucas and Hobbs did very well.

The big dissapointment for me was Crouch. I'm not going to slate him and slag him off. I just don't understand why he did it?!

We were still very much in the game with a weakend team. That sending off is wha killed us and the worst of it is he deserved to go.

Good post, the only possible explanation is he doesn't give a **** cos he knows he's off. It was so over-the-top and out of character.

THis season the chavs have had 2 massive slices of luck against us. We NEVER get any luck of that kind.

With the team we had out I'm actually not to down beat. I'm dissapointed obviously because we lost but I thought some of our young players showed that they have what it takes at this level.

That sending off though...It was completely deserved. I just don't understand why he did it? The ball was going out of play, Mikel was going nowhere and Crouch steams in two footed. It was madness and a deserved red. Who knows what would've happened if hadn't done that because, despite the goal, we were doing just fine.

Defensively he was great, it was just bugging me the way he just kept hoofing it when he won it. Niggling point though as he was a rock in defence.

thinking about Chelsea put out a stong side, we didn't. It gave Hobbs some good experience and gave us a look at our understudy keeper, made a good account of himself I reckon. I'm not that pissed about this game,
