Whether he touched him or not is neither here nor there. You dive in like that with feet off the ground you deserve to go. We'd have said the same if it was Lampard who did it on one of our players.

I made a point of watching what options he had when it came to hoofing it. He doesn't actually have much option, as he didn't against Man Utd. I'm all for building from the back. But under pressure with no options to build up in midfield what are you options? Let's not forget that we were playing Crouch upfront as well.

Speaking of which what was he doing? I personally think it was frustration at the lack of service.
