Negatives: Momo hasn't looked the same player since his eye and shoulder injuries last year. Crow doesn't have the pace for a counter-attacking game.

I made a point of watching what options he had when it came to hoofing it. He doesn't actually have much option, as he didn't against Man Utd. I'm all for building from the back. But under pressure with no options to build up in midfield what are you options? Let's not forget that we were playing Crouch upfront as well.

Speaking of which what was he doing? I personally think it was frustration at the lack of service.

I wouldn't criticise his defensive skill, he's the best in the country, just his distribution at times. Still, it was to all intents and purposes a "throw away comment"

G&H need to splash the cash in January or we may risk losing out on a CL place. All it takes right now is an injury to Torres or Gerrard and our goal threat are more or less gone.

I thought we did well considering how much we are lacking as a team without Gerrard and Torres - they had a very strong team out. Its obvious our strikers bar Torres are not good enough, midfield didn't do too bad and the wide areas have been shute for us for years. All in all not bad, lets move on.
