Lampard may get a lot of deflections leading into the goal however if he shoots on target, he is more than likely to get it into the back of the net.

positives : Itandje look a good keeper, Hobbs was good and will get better, Lucas is another good signing and with time he will improve even more.

negatives : Crouch is POOR, I'm sorry but people like SQUINT and others slagg Kuyt left, right and centre but Crouch gets away with a "silly/stupid boy" comment..DOUBLE STANDARDS I call it.
The lad misses 2 sitters the 2nd of which affected his judgment which led to a stupid WANNABEE tackle that got him a deserved RED.
A word for you MR CROUCH, before you knock on the managers door complaining that you should play more, PROVE IT on the pitch and so far you have not. So hope you find a new club in January cos quite frankley mr shankly you aint good enough to wear the RED shirt.

The first season with us Crouch took until December until he scored in the league, this season, his third with us, he won't have scored a goal until as best January 2nd.

He did miss that one when he was in on Cech but to be fair it was a good save rather than a bad miss.

My gripe tonight was him getting himself sent off. We were fine up until that point despite being 1-0 down.

Voronin got into some decent positions but his decision making when he gets there is extremely poor.

Babel looks good. As for Voronin, Crouch and Kuyt - I wouldn't mind if we sold all three at once.

Have to say I agree, we need more quality finishers than those three. They aren't the worst in the world, but at Liverpool a player should be top drawer and quite frankly, they are not.

But we knew Crouch and Kuyt weren't at that class last season, and we all knew that Voronin on a free was not going to set the world alight.

erm the first half chance where he was through, nearly hit the corner flag and then the 2nd half chance when he wanted to chip Cech but did not hit well enough, 2 minutes late he gets a fooking RED..no discipline.
And KUYT is 10 times the player Crouch is but each to their own.

Crouchy is a good player who usually performs well and can finish, he holds the ball up well and rarely loses possesion, today was not his best game, but he is a good striker and an excellent footballer to have in your team or squad ...

Voronin is in his first season, ok he is not blowing us away but a little harsh to right him off just yet ...

Still would not lose much sleep if Rafa got rid of him and actually I think for Momo's sake he needs a fresh challenge ... he was poor again today

Xabi is back and looked composed and fit
Lucas looks a great prospect, strong and comfortable on the ball
Hobbs got 90 mins and id reasonably well

Negatives

Voronin is useless no more a natural frontman than I am, GOD was a better squad player
Sissoko another game of working hard to win the ball only to give it away
Crouch did nothing all game except get sent off so he could spend crimbo with abby
Rafa 5 mins left and chasing the game with 10 men behind the ball. Need balls to win games like this
