He did miss that one when he was in on Cech but to be fair it was a good save rather than a bad miss.

My gripe tonight was him getting himself sent off. We were fine up until that point despite being 1-0 down.

Voronin got into some decent positions but his decision making when he gets there is extremely poor.

Have to say I agree, we need more quality finishers than those three. They aren't the worst in the world, but at Liverpool a player should be top drawer and quite frankly, they are not.

But we knew Crouch and Kuyt weren't at that class last season, and we all knew that Voronin on a free was not going to set the world alight.

I would like to see Torres, Babel, Nemeth and a new striker(Aguero) as our four strikers after the January window.

Crouchy is a good player who usually performs well and can finish, he holds the ball up well and rarely loses possesion, today was not his best game, but he is a good striker and an excellent footballer to have in your team or squad ...

Voronin is in his first season, ok he is not blowing us away but a little harsh to right him off just yet ...

If a player has not much quality then the least we should expect is a little pace, good first touch and passing ability. Kuyt and Voronin are like two work horses who are just too slow and lack quality. Crouch is okay but slow as snail.

I think until we address the style of play and some of the poor attacking options we have on the wing and up front, we will keep standing still.

People keep saying that they fielded a strong side and we didn't? I think its partially true but not to the extent that some are trying to make out.

Bridge, Belletti, Ben-Haim and Sinclair are not their first team. On top of that Ballack and Carvalho aren't really match fit.

The difference is that they have more strength in depth and we are more familiar with these names, but it was a significantly weakened Chelsea side also.

We haven't fielded a bunch of fringe players like...oh I don't know, Arsenal.
