However, there is still such a long way to go til the end of the season and many things can happen, and in my opinion there is no one better suited to us than Rafa, he has the class, the integrity, the gracefulness few other managers have.

I wouldn't call it preaching to the choir, I'm sure you and others genuinely love Rafa and want him to stay, but there is some right bull**** being spouted around by many people who 'are fed up with Rafa and his crazy tactics and he'll never ever win us the league etc', it's just tiring and I wanted to say something about it.

sean im not sure where your going here? are you suggesting i dont support the manager and i dont want him to stay? couldent be further from the truth if you are. theres a lot of bull**** being spouted about mate. like i said yesterday, backs are up against the wall, lets support the team lets support the manager keep the **** talking to a minimum and lets get back to being the worlds most loyal and knowledgable fans instead of this ****ing agenda that is going on

And no I wasn't suggesting that you don't support the manager and you don't want to him to stay, but you did say he'd be gone if we don't win the league. I assume that you meant that that was what you heard (?) or possibly your own opinion (?) not sure which one you meant, but either way I support him through and through and would still support him even if we didn't win the league. It'd just be going backward if we got rid of him, it'd be back to the drawing board IMO, we'd have to pay compensation, players would definitely leave and new ones would have to be brought in, the players would need to readjust to the new manager and his tactics, etc.

But I'm starting to get fed up with him over certain things. What happened against Reading really threw me.

Some of his recent quotes have grated a little, especially when he says "we controlled the game" after we've been beaten.

And I'm afraid we've never realistically been anywhere near a title challenge since he's been in charge. So what he says is inaccurate.

Would prefer he got on with his job. If he gets the results he'll get offered a new deal.

Rafa going public with a statement about and extension is only a good thing if the Americans come out right after and say 'let's sit down and talk about it. We would love you to stay'!

I see it as a sign off weakness if they don't get these things handled internally before they go to the press. It suggests that Rafa has to put pressure on the owners and I'm ****ing tired and wanna go to bed now...

I agree, Tom. Something is in the making or in the breaking. Trouble is that we havn't got a clue which way things are going.

It is a worry that Rafa goes public with this statement lige this. Normally the club would announce that they have agreed on an extension. I defo see this as a sign of weakness.

Now the S*N has a frontpage saying that Klinsmann is taking over for Rafa.

You gotta be more than an optimist if you think everything is fine and dandy right now in LFC.

I think I would like to see what Klinsmann could do for us. I'm not that impressed with Rafa anyway.
