Last Night's pre match build up on Sky

Sorry if this has been posted before but I can't find it - if it is elsewhere then please delete.
I was ****ing outraged at the build up last night with Stelling and Wilkins (and when he arrived to a lesser extent Gary Mac) they were saying we're out of the Prem race but then said Chelsea were 'right in the hunt' well unless I'm wrong if we win our game in hand we're 1 point behind Chelsea - how does that 1 point make that much of a difference??
They were saying we're taking the piss by making 9 changes from Sun then cut to the interview with Avram Grant who when asked said "We've made 7 changes and would be 8 if Pizarro was fit" but nothing was mentioned after the interview. They then critizised Rafa for not making the Carling Cup a bigger priorty but said nothing when Grant answered the same question with "It's not my 1st priority, nor my 2nd priority, nor my 3rd priority"

Basically this is a rant about how anti Rafa and anti Liverpool Sky are, I know it's been mentioned before but I'm still that outraged at lunchtime the following day I've decided to post about it.
They were blaming Rooney's goal on zonal marking (again) and even started debating about Rafa being under pressure of the sack and how the owners don't rate him.
Now my problem with Gary Mac in all this is he doesn't defend us enough or right any of the wrongs they report as gospal.
If he would have said Rafa's made 9 changes Avram would have made 8 so obviously neither of them are that keen then fair enough but they hit Rafa will the rotation stick and say nothing, absolutely nothing about the other ******s.
Seriously, it ****ing pisses me off, when are we going to get any fair press and why are we always the club everyone reports blatant lies about.
The King was back for a short while. Long live The King.

I think the difference is we're miles behind with AWAY games at the other three to come.

Chelsea still have Arsenal and us at home, for one. Not sure if their game against United is at home or not.

I wonder how many goals we have conceded from set pieces (excluding penos) this season compared to the other top teams.... I suspect we are doing good, zonal or not.

Maybe Gary Mac has a different opinion to you? And good press doesn't win titles. Try to get some sleep lad! :-)

Birdman, Have to agree totally but it aint worth getting yourself wound up over...

You look at the articles wriiten in the London Press & they make out as if we were utterly ****e & got hammered by a fantastic Chelsea - the Liverpool press are a bit more honest in their evaluation & say we were unlucky to go behind to a deflected goal but until then we were right in it until Crouch got himself sent off... no mention of poor reffing either

Nothing will change... it's just the way the mass media is

I dont listen to the pre-match build up anymore as it is all bollocks.. I'll turn on at kick off, switch channels at half time, back to sky for the second half then off at full time.
If Andy Gray is on one I'll turn the sound down on the TV & listen to the commentary on Radio City - Easy!
What do you mean it could've been anyone? Name me one person who's got a grudge against penguins

          Batman

          F*** off!!!

I appreciate Gary Mac knows more than me - my argument with him is that he doesn't defend us against blatant lies.
Letting Stelling slate us for making 9 changes and not mentioning Chelsea made 7 and wanted to make 8.
The very least I expect is for an ex red to defend us, he only has to tell the truth.

Maybe we should catalogue all of Sky`s Anti Liverpool commentary and see how long the thread get`s.

i`d say we reach a thousand posts by the end of the season!!!!!

Once he starts arguing with the ****s on sky he`ll lose his job for not towing the party line.

Pundits seem to forget that we consistently have the best (or almost best) defence over the last few years whenever they have a pop at zonal marking.

Thats like saying a striking partnership is **** when they bang in 25 goals each a season but miss a few sitters.

"If Gerrard continues to play up front, leaving this lack of creativity and intelligence in Midfield, the season WILL be over by Xmas."

I still don't think we'll finish in the top 4 this season."

Nope, its when our strikers miss good chances against the big teams

We always seem to get undone from set pieces against the bigger sides

Given our ****e home form, that's probably a blessing in disguise

We concede far too many against Manure, that's all I know...
