no one really knows how much money they have. there isn't enough investment in dubai to justify the spending, there are those of the opinion that they have no money left, that they are overspending with loans and mortgages that they hope the future will resolve. i have a friend that was over in dubai and was the manager of a big project there. and he told me from the information he gathered that there was very little foreign investment there, most of the investors he met where only there for the quick buck none of them thought it was wise or safe to invest in the future of dubai. the point is that it's not a certain that they will be any better, we know nothing about them, how much money they really have and how much of that they can spend. there are no guaranties about dic...

They are excellent businessmen, look at how much profit they made on Madame Tussauds for example.

Over the past year I have listened to you waffle on about takeover issues (the finance side to it) and people like Rocket, Alpha, Lecter (to name just a few) have had to come on here and consistently expose you and show that you have no idea what you're talking about when it comes to this particular topic.

Yes of course DIC COULD afford to invest mega bucks into LFC but why would they. They would view LFC as they would any other investment which means they want to minimise spend and maximise profits. There's no way on earth DIC would cough up enough to buy LFC, fund the stadium and then give Rafa untold millions for the team. When it looked like DIC would buy us people close to them made that clear. Also remember the leaked document that said they'd sell us in 7 years times as they thought that would be the optimum selling point. Anyone thinking DIC would be knights on white horses saving LFC from the daterdly yanks is living in cloud cuckoo land IMO.
