I thought it was a great team performance. Their back line couldn't handle Torres, their midfield couldn't cope with Mascher, and even Kuyt was making inroads for the first half hour. Portsmouth regrouped for the second half and came back with a well worked goal, but Rafa countered and for the last half hour we ran them ragged again. So much for the best away form in the league.

It's been a while since I've heard the atmosphere being as sh!t as it was on Saturday. At times you really could hear a pin drop in the kop.

As for the game itself, great result even though im we didn't play that well. The first 15-20 min we looked good and then we were very average for the next 45 min or so before we decided to play again. Mascherano was the best player on the pitch and Torres is on another level. Our worst players were the usual suspects, Kewell, Riise and Kuyt.
