This game reminds me of Man City away last season, Riise is frequently the furthest man forward in the middle of the pitch which is a bit worrying.

Our wing play has been utter ****e.

Alonso has been poor for me

His touch has been heavy at times and his movement laboured. I think he's still finding his way back to full match fitness after his injury.

Give him another few games and I'm sure he'll be back to his best.

Yes I know we usually come good in the last 10- 15 mins, but if derby fluke an equaliser they will have something to fight for in the closing stages

It was more of a throwaway comment on his rabbit in the headlights performance than an objective assessment of his ability. But, he's 22/23 and he is ****.

This is the first week since the start of the season that Liverpool havent been LIVE on TV whether it be Sky or Setanta

Yes we have been confortable, but in all honesty we are not playing well at all.

Aurelio, Riise, Voronin and Babel are all looking mediocre at best.
I think we need to score a second to be on the safe side.

No way is he 22. He looks like a child, he has no facial hair.

Alonso has played well, especially in his passing.

His passing has been decent but he has looked very sluggish at times and his first touch has been lacking.

He has been okay, no better. But I expect him to improve as he regains match sharpness and his class is still there for all to see.
