We will be owned by the bank if they can't come up with the £40m cash security.
Just believe and you never know what will happen.

According to Benitez it's important not simply to go out to win but to go out prepared to win, which means players have to put in the same level of work on a daily basis. Anything else is unacceptable.

If I was to have an internet poll i would probably ask whether fans trusted the information coming out of the owners/Rafa or the papers the most. People seem to have formed sides already on the basis of very little evidence.

Is there any chance of the journalist being able to put follow up questions to the owners?
Either the fans will be asked to take part in a survey or the owners will be told about fans feelings as per Verbatim. The journo in question recently interviewed Hicks and has access to them both.

If you don't mind me asking why did he contact you?

This is the second reporter that has contacted you recently.

You think that two very successful businessmen, who own several sports franchises, would buy LFC and then lose it to banks because of 40 mill? Are you mental? It's peanuts. Makes me want to take out both eyes reading this BS.

Seriously AF. You're taking this too far. Step away from the keyboard and think for a couple of hours before you carry on. You're wasting everybody's time with this drivel.

DIC would probably run us the Real way. Maximize the marketing on everything. They would get their money back plus a lot more if they signed expensive players thanks to excellent marketing.

The image rights are worth a lot of money. Ronaldinho for example is worth £10m-£15m/year in image rights alone.

                IMO.
Your talking **** again, because you dont know whether any of the above is the slightest bit fact. You've just typed any random thought on the subject! Words like 'would probably run us the Real way' is complete and utter bollox.

mate, you are taking on a whole new level of nonsensical rubbish!!

do you think the pair of them have to scrap around for 40million and have to sell players to raise the cash!! i cannot be bothered to go into the 50 reasons why that is one of the most ridiculous posts ever

So why then did G&H miss out on their self imposed deadline if they have the £40m cash they need to secure the loan?

Why take it any closer to the February deadline and make it look they are having problems to secure the loan?

These are business they don't use their personal wealth and assets, also the other teams are separate entities so if one team fails they themselves will not lose out nor will the other teams.

its a self imposed deadline apparently. they could say 'what the ****s it got to do with you how we arrange our money'. time to stop treating second hand quotes and speculation as fact.

These topics are getting ridiculous. Worst case we'll know by summer, and even if its as **** as many of us fear there will always be those on here who will still think the americans did nothing wrong.

No one in their right mind would ever believe they would have any trouble raising the 40 mill. It's just a question of how. They are looking at securing some very big loans and there might be fifty ways to leave your lover but there are fifty thousands ways to re/finance the structure called LFC.

Possibly they just think that they can get a better deal later on?

The problem is none of us are party to the details of any of these deals and so there is a big danger of just interpreting any developments through the lens of our original prejudices.

Ultimately I would rather the owners got a good deal and if that means that they can't do a deal right now then so be it. They certainly deserve a chance before we judge them as fans in my opinion.

They don't do their deal thanks to a lot of cash. When they buy something they almost all the time take a loan, they don't use any cash.

I'm not that sure that they can get £40m in cash just like that without selling anything.
