This is the second reporter that has contacted you recently.

I asked the same question but didn't get a response. Given Rashid's infamous reputation I find the whole thing rather odd.

In the former case I suspect they want to frame an interesting story by using a controversial representative of the LFC fan community to get a certain slant. I think Rashid's idea of opening out the number of people who have input is a good one. However I suspect given the vocal anti-G&H feeling about that the results will be much what they would have wanted.

I'd be surprised if a broadsheet actually knew he existed and if they did then surely they'd know that he's not exactly flavour of the month with the majority of reds fans. And given that, would they really think he'd be a good person to be asking to collect info from LFC sites where rightly or wrongly he's for the most part disliked?

I suggest people stop abusing my name. The journo in question has been given links to all the threads on each site that has been created with regards to Hicks so your voices will be heard. And the voices of the pro G+H will also be heard. People bitch and moan about things and want answers well at least I have tried to do something about it. With regards to journo's contact me, well I know Bascombe through TLW and I know the journo at The Telegraph through previous correspondences about the investment saga, about DIC etc. Both to me are absolutely reputable.

All a journalist would have to do is go onto the right site and see he was a prominent figure. My suspicion is that if he was asked it was precisely because he was unpopular for his strident criticism of Rafa and the owners and they want to give a slant to the survey while being seen to engage.

In all honesty whether it is on the level or not it is a discussion people where/are having anyway so I don't see it causing much trouble.

The Journo in question knows Hicks and wants to ensure that information gets to him and Gillett. He interviewed Hicks just before Christmas and knows the issues with the finance. Inside Sport at the Telegraph is probably the most reliable supplement there is with regards to off the field football activities in my opinion.

The journo won't be taking my word for anything and has access to threads like these as his source. I certainly DON'T want to or wish to be a voice of the fans and he knows that. So the stick I am getting from people just for having the balls to do something about the issues with the owners is not really fair.

I dont know the next steps but I assume an online poll or a long article addressing our concerns to Hicks and Gillett.
