Thanjk you.

If we didn't have a game in hand and if we had played one more game than everyone else (having got 6 points in the process) we'd be 2 points off of the Arse and 3 points off the top. And how different we would be viewed by the media (and the naysayers).
Just goes to show how fickle the table and the press can be at this stage of the season.
Put this in the context of Clichy's admission that that the Emirate's squad is starting to tire (cf: Guardian unlimited) then the game is on for no.19 -as long as ManU take a nosedive- (as we are all hoping for) then no 19 and possibly no 6 are on their way to their fateful place in 2008.
Come on you Reds!!!
It's up to our boys to turn the ifs into LFCS - yesssssssssssssssss!!!
Man U will win the league this season. Over and out.

Sadly Marky is right on that, Mancs are so strong, strong in defence and attack. Injuries i don't think would effect them too (unless there is some type of pandemic), They have bought themselves another title i fear.
Never thought i'd say this to anyone, but marky showed more wisdom in his post than you did in yours.
ManU might win the league this year, In fact, they're probably favourites. But its anything other than a certainty that they'll win it. Its amazing how defeatest some people can be only half way through the season.
I could not dig, I dared not rob:

They've already got a lead on us and if they continue in the same vein as they have started i can't see past them.
They very rarely drop points at the Toilet and away from home most of the other teams in the league go in with the mentality Hicks was talking about, in their minds they think they can't beat the scum bags.

Missing the point your new hobby for 2008?
It's not about whether they'll win it or not, it's the whole "all we have to do is win this game, thats 3 points, then that game...etc and they'll lose this one, then this one" etc that makes me laugh.
Wisdom doesn't come into it in any way Syd. The whole notion of the thread is IF! Take all rationality away from the equation. IF we played two more games than we have (I realise that this is purely conjectural) and won both, we would be in a position that would place us in a position that would be closer to the top of the league and in a position of prominence.
The whole point of the thread is one of perception not one of reality - a consequence of midseason possibility.
I'm not saying anything is possible. rather that possibility is achievable and that the table could lie at this stage of the season

If only we'd beaten them at Anfield...
Well beat them at OldToilet. Don't forget they did lose to Bolton not that long ago, who are utterly rubbish.

Ummmm, its still 2007 isn't it, or have I missed a few days somewhere?
Yeah, ok, so the "right, if x,y and z happens" thread thing is getting a little tired. But its certainly no more tired than all the "Kuyt's ****", "Riise's ****" or "Hicks is a c**t" threads is it? Some people are just trying to be a bit positive and say that realistically, its difficult, but its not insurmountable yet. Personally I think that's got more of a place on a LFC fansite than just posting "ManU will win the league" in response to every thread........
