We need to put a run together though. In a way after the Derby game we need performances as well as results to build confidence. If we can win our game in hand then I think we can be in a position to challenge.
hopefully derby was the catalyst to some great performances, the players deserved a rocket up there arse(not the poster ) for there second half performance.

the position we are in everygamel is a must win, but hopefully city will be a great performance to

I dont think people would see things 'very differently' if United got beat. Unless those people think we're going to win all 20 of our games.

I think people will be much less gloomy about the whole scenario if we win tomorrow to be honest. I was really talking about the mood around which has been very defeatist of late. I think the United loss, if combined with a victory against City will bring back a bit of belief around the place.

            A win tomorrow and...

...we'll be back in the titlerace. If we win tomorrow and our posponed game against West Ham, we'll be 3 points behind the Scum. We've got a great chance to get right back up there with the front two.

            Come on you reds!!!

Thats what i like to read when people are being possitive

Their's far to much negativity around at the mo(some of it justified i might add) but even so, its nice to hear/read about the good things now and again

We ****ing have to win tomorrow.

                Dropping points would be criminal.

will be nice to claw 3 points back from united tomorrow and I fully expect us to do so.

IF we dont though, we are by no means out of this years title race. Everyone is dropping points this season and we will come stronger as the season goes on thanks to our (much criticised) rotation system.

Its going to be a tough one but, if we really do want to win the prem, we have GOT to win the Man Citys etc, to be in there

Is the key point, and as has been proven over the last 2 seasons, we have had more points than any other team in the league in the second half of the season.
                      That's the one...

We have played great when Masch and Gerrard have played together and they will probably do that against City.

                        I'm not that worried.
Just believe and you never know what will happen.

According to Benitez it's important not simply to go out to win but to go out prepared to win, which means players have to put in the same level of work on a daily basis. Anything else is unacceptable.

And yet still finished 20 points or so behind.

Because of ridiculously bad starts. We havent had that this season.
