Man U is the big problem.
When did Chelsea last lose at Stamford Bridge?

A must win and would be a great 3 points against a team thats doing well.

Having Manure losing it was a big bonus for us win win win.......all the way till May

IF we dont though, we are by no means out of this years title race. Everyone is dropping points this season and we will come stronger as the season goes on thanks to our (much criticised) rotation system.

**** the rotation system but your right as usual

They will be without Essien, Mikel, Drogba and probably Lampard, Terry and Makalele.
Just believe and you never know what will happen.

According to Benitez it's important not simply to go out to win but to go out prepared to win, which means players have to put in the same level of work on a daily basis. Anything else is unacceptable.

It is a huge game without doubt. We usually fail to take advantage of these situations but it is huge because of what it will do if we win as opposed to what a loss will do.

A loss will seriously hurt our chances for the title without doubt but for me a win will give us and more importantly the team belief we can win. At a crucial time when we Alonso back and Agger back soon.

It is easy to assume Torres or Gerrard will be the difference but I suspect Rafa will be the main player for us by tactically outwitting Sven.

I would like to see this team

                -----------Reina---------
                Finnan--Carra--Agger-Arbeloa
                -----Masher----Alonso----
                Kuyt------Gerrard----Kewell
                ---------Torres------------

I suspect Agger may not be available so some shuffling would be needed. I would not be surprised if Rafa plays Momo though to disrupt their midfield. That could be his masterstroke as Elano is their major threat IMO and Momo could shut him out.

Anyway I aint going to have any nails left cos this could be the springboard to something special

Exactly right. If we want to win the title we MUST win today. United won't slip up that many times during the course of the season and even the most ardent optimists would admit that. We have to take full advantage of the slip up just as Arsenal did yesterday. Arsenal's win yesterday was Championship winning stuff. One goal down, away to an on form blue sh!te team and they come back to thrash the bast@rds.

Time to go on a run. It's now or never.

But they`ll have the referee and two linesmen. They`ll still challenge.

I LOVE threads like this - surely no other LFC Forum has such beauties

Can we win the title? Technically YES
Will we win the title? Probably not
Why? Other teams have more points than us AND have fought for Championships before...
So, what needs to happen to give us a realistic chance?
                              It now becomes opinion()...

ALL four teams need to stay close at the top, or certainly 3, because a two-way tussle with United would mean they'd take it.

Chelsea will need to keep struggling with injuries. Arsenal will need to start tiring, and most crucially United will need Ronaldo to either get injured, or stop scoring. That leaves us; well we'll need to have an AMAZING run, one where we go to each of our challenges grounds and take points, we'll need a low injury count, and we'll need our TWO "match winners" (tm) to stay fit and on-form. So, like I said, we CAN win it, but we need a lot of factors to turn to our favour.

The results count for nothing yesterday if we don't beat Citeh today
