We have played quite well for an away team but I can see the reluctance to push too high up the pitch. I think we can nick a goal here but perhaps Alonso needs to come on.Comment

Arbeloa looks very uncomfortable at CB but we've been pretty good this half. Had a few chances. Aurelio has been our best performer, very classy player. Gerrard is being held back I feel, since we're not comfortable at the back. Carragher's playing out of his skin to cover for Arbeloa. Kewell has been very good. Finnan has regressed this season.Comment

I am happy with the performance so far.
A couple of half chances against a very deep and defensive City side.
We need to keep this up in the 2nd half and I reckon a goal will come.Comment

Both sides had chances to score in the first half, and unless the game plays a lot differently in the second I'd say there are goals to come in this game.
Babel could make the difference if he comes on second halfComment

We were getting on top when the ref blew up. Another ten minutes and we would have scored.
