We just have to basically win the majority of our remaining games as well as beating our rivals at their place and then we'll be in with a shout because I can't see United dropping too many points.
They could quite conceivably draw one and lose one, if we won all five that shrink that gap to 0 if we also win our game in hand.

I think he'll rip him a new one.

But I can't help feeling sorry for Titus Shambles. With all the abuse he's had over the years I'm surprised he can sleep at night. Then again I suppose 30-40k a week tucked under his pillow every night should ease his nightmares.

        That's very true

We just have to focus on winning our games in hand and the others. No more slip ups like the one at City.

Hopefully (esp since i'm going as my only game before I head back to FL) we can batter Wigan tonight and put 5/6 past 'em

I know mate, but responded just in case you had woken up on the wrong side of the bed

Anyway, you know I'm a realist/pessimist when it comes to the 'pool. It's my defence mechanism...problem is it doesn't work. I'll only be truly happy once we win no. 19. Then I think I'll wait till we win the next 3 on the trot and retire from footie forever.

                    Torres and Gerrard must play.

                    Why rest them for Luton?

Presumably they'll play. It would be stupid if they didn't.

Just leaving for the game now. Torres better play but I wouldn't be surprised in the slightest if he doesn't and we bring him on for the last 20 needing a goal. we'll probably do 'em though!

"he's got a big fat head" will be getting a good airing tonight.

Bruce has a solid record at Anfield, I hope we don't make the same mistakes that we did against Birmingham earlier in the season. Torres has to start, don't think Crouchy will though if he is going then better he plays this game than gets cup tied against Luton.
