    R.I.P Sheila Walsh

Meanwhile, Benitez today paid an emotional tribute to his secretary, Sheila Walsh, who lost her brave battle with illness yesterday.

He said: “The thoughts of myself, the coaching staff, the players and everyone at Melwood are with Sheila's family at this sad time. Sheila was a wonderful person who was a pleasure to work with and she gave great service to the club for more than 25 years.

“I was lucky enough to work with her from the first day I came to Liverpool and I know and appreciate what an important role Sheila played in the club's success. She will be greatly missed by everyone at Liverpool Football Club.”

Very sad news indeed. Always a terrible tragedy when someone passes away through illness but when it's one of our own it's that much worse.

Just believe and you never know what will happen.

According to Benitez it's important not simply to go out to win but to go out prepared to win, which means players have to put in the same level of work on a daily basis. Anything else is unacceptable.

Always sad when people go, even more so when they go too soon.
