We can still beat these clowns by 3 or 4 if we get our act together - although worryingly we aren't that soild at the back - a few dodgy moments between Arbeloa, Carragher and Reina.
Could do with that shiny new Centre Back sooner rather than later
The formation is working great in the middle. Alonso, Mascherano, Gerrard and Torres should be playing this way all the time, it's our wing play that's been hindering us. Pennant doesn't look fit and I'm losing faith in Kewell's ability to regain his pace, or some of it.
The number of strikers isn't what people should be looking at, we bring enough players to the box when we create something, it's our wingers' lack of penetration that spoils our game. Gerrard and Mascherano both got into good scoring positions and should have buried their chances, Torres is brilliant up front on his own. We don't need Kuyt to sit 40 yards from goal and do nothing when Gerrard does his role so much better.

Some pinball football being played, some scary moments
Well, here we are in a room with two manky hookers and a racist dwarf. I think I'm heading home.
We really need better wide players. Kewell has been ok but Pennant can't get a cross in with some pace even if is life depended on it.
At least Pennant has got into positions to put crosses in. He's been able to beat his man and show a bit of pace and trickery. Kewell keeps losing posession and getting muscled off the ball. He doesn't have the pace or muscle to compete.
