We really need better wide players. Kewell has been ok but Pennant can't get a cross in with some pace even if is life depended on it.

It doesn't matter who we get out wide if we don't get players coming in to the box.

0-0 HT. Very frustrating. The way the teams are lined up the key to the game is the wide men and Kewell and Pennant are sorely lacking in anything. We made a mistake not passing on Pennant and paying the extra few mil for Simao or a winger who can cross. David Bentley is twice the player Pennant is. His first game back but he offers nothing. The occasional time he beats his man, his final delivery is awful, no pace on the ball just a sand wedge. Why doesn't Rafa instruct him to go for the end line and get whipped crosses in?? Baffling. As for Kewell, he does not look like a man playing for a contract. The play is slowing down when he gets the ball and he is pulling out of challenges all over the place. He is not even try to beat his man, but looking for the safe square ball every time. If this is all he's got against Wigan, then how can he play against the top three!! We have had one clear chance that Gerrard scuffed.

This is a test of Rafa's stubborness here. We've been in this situation so many times, a team coming to Anfield and defending. If he cant figure out how to break them down then there is simply no hope for us.

IMO, a side likie Liverpool, should play 2 up front, in every Prem game, except for maybe scum, chescum and arse away!

Reds playing well. Just need that 1st goal which is always a cunt when playing against a team intent on not getting ****ted.

Kewell playing like a mong, need to get yossi on to replace him at half time.

Pennant doing well but will probably tire soon so I would bring crouch on after 60 minutes and stick Gerrard on the right wing.

If we get a goal early in the second half we will go on to **** them, but if it doesnt happen, be patient, it WILL come eventually.

Not having Babel on the bench is a bad move; much better having him there than Kuyt. Bringing Kuyt off the bench isn't going to scare Bramble!
