every manager will buy crap (and so has rafa) but for me that's not his flaw.

his flaw is that he is fundamentally negative.

i said so after the everton game, except he got lucky and so everyone lined up to back him, and he proved it again tonight. only this time not so lucky.

at 1-0 he was happy to sit on it and scrape the narrow win.

aim low as he often does, and you deserve what you get when the smack in the gob inevitably comes.

from the moment i saw the team tonight i became anxious.

terrible selection. terrible approach. a thoroughly miserable evening and it cost £36 which i don't have too.

That phrase really pisses me off. It's a throw back from our past when we were winning everything at home and in Europe.
It's easy to be a fan in those circumstances.
The reason people are critical of the team nowadays is because we care about the club and are not happy at watching us settle for 4th every year. We should be challenging for the title after 18 years

Nope and for the past 15 years or so, I've believed at the start of every season that we could do it even though its not been realistic.

Next season is probably a more realistic aim but we need to be closer and be going into the run in there or there abouts.

good. cos that's how i felt tonight too. except he GOT paid for it while i paid for the privilege. and he was the goon he presented me a negative spectacle against ****ing wigan, while i was the innocent party. i defended him when he was criticised after city. but tonight he deserves every ounce of criticism he gets for the way he approached this game.

Birmingham at home. Torres didn't start for "tactical reasons". Where you there for that one as well? Bet you paid £30 plus to watch Kuyt and Voronin play up front, didn't you?

And then there was the debacle that was Reading. Not starting Torres and Gerrard away to Pompey, he got lucky with that Gerrard sub against the ****e, Blackburn away with Kuyt up on his own. Hell, even last years European Cup final was a tactical **** up IMO.

It's a worrying trend, and it keeps happening.
