Has Rafa lost his way somewhat with the departure of......

Paco Ayesteran??...........I dont have much faith in the bench thats currently there and have said so for a while

...........and maybe even Moores not running the club anymore its clear he does not get on with Punch and Judy and Parry will take the side of the yanks all the time to save his job..........??

Or have I got a bunch of straws in my hand???

Less of the personal insults towards people and more of the "football" debate would be better

Has he lost his way? Has the destination that he has been arriving at changed that dramatically?
Were we really on course for the title when Paco was here. He was here for 3 years and we didn't really get close to the league.

Basically i don't think he has lost his way, I still think he's struggling to find the right way.

Good points, but does he have a strong coaching staff to show him that way??? i.e someone to stand up to him and say i think "blah blah" and so on......???

I'm not sure about that. I'm more inclined to think that the manager needs to be strong and single-minded.
If Rafa has someone standing up to him it creates self doubt amongst Rafa and more importantly the players.
If the coach knows better than Rafa then maybe Rafa is not the man for the job?

Yeah i take that onboard but why does every manager have an assistant??

Its someone there to bouch off ideas about players, formation etc....yes?

I don't know, just my opinions, but I think the assistant's job is to poin tthings out that the manager may have missed, rather than try and change the philosophy of the manager.

Rafa and Pako was a fantastic team, they worked together and discussed everything when it comes down to tactics.

They had been together for more than 10 years so of course it will notice when the key member of your staff leaves.

Pako was also the one that chatted with the players and had a laugh with them.

You don't see our players smile that often now, compare that to last season when the players smiled a lot on the pitch, they had fun out there. I think Pako leaving is the main reason to that change.

Man U had problems when Quiroz left and joined Real. That changed when he joined them again. One good example of how important an assistant manager is.
Just believe and you never know what will happen.

According to Benitez it's important not simply to go out to win but to go out prepared to win, which means players have to put in the same level of work on a daily basis. Anything else is unacceptable.

Come on Johnny, we're just discussing the plight of our beloved club and exploring some of the pertinent issues. What's the problem with that? Or were you referring to something else?
