Luton’s plea for financial help from Liverpool is turned down

I'm all for us helping other clubs in certain ways, but they seem to basically be asking us for a cash handout which is not something we should do IMO. When we donate money then it should go to charities, not to help out mismanaged clubs.

Did Luton ask for the tie to be switched to Anfield or a bigger neutral venue? Hasn't this been done for clubs in the past?

That 'Drama Queen' and 'Dickhead' FFF does.

He also donated money to a Charity in memory of my mate's wife who died aged 39 leaving a 3 year old son when he probably couldn't afford it himself. Off point slightly I know.

Personally, I think Luton can get to **** but just because someone might think it would be an honourable gesture that may just hold onto some kind of dignity in a game ruled by corporate owners and vastly over paid players, some who earn more in a week than we do in a year yet can't kick a ball 5 yards to a teammate, they're hardly a ****ing dickhead.

I stand by my comments, regardless of what some people think about it not being 'our problem' the Liverpool I know & love would not have turned that plea down, I'm damn sure Moores would not have even remotely thought of it.

We helped Sunderland a few years back then they ****ed us over over that re arranged game and threatened to sue us, that was the thanks we got. **** em, corruption and greed has got them into this mess it isnt up to us to bail them out.

Feel for the people there suffering but theres plenty worse off in the world.

We'll have to beg to differ on this, I believe in being 'the better person' in situations, just cos someone has letyou down you dont tar everyone with the same brush. I also always believe that as LFC we are better than all other clubs, in attitude as well as in everything else.

Perhaps those days are well & truly over, perhaps I'm just deluded, but I like it that way.
