Well, I have heard the same that is why I go on about our economic situation.

It's 26 days left for G&H to come up with the cash or else we will be owned by the bank. That is one fact no one can argue against.
Just believe and you never know what will happen.

According to Benitez it's important not simply to go out to win but to go out prepared to win, which means players have to put in the same level of work on a daily basis. Anything else is unacceptable.

LOSING OWNERS WOULD BE RAF LUCK
      Lawro 05/01/2008

My biggest fear for Liverpool is not them being out of the Premier League title race. Or Rafa Benitez getting the sack. But that George Gillett and Tom Hicks may walk away.

The American owners are clearly finding the going tough and the credit crunch is biting them hard. Benitez was clever in the way that he flushed them out and effectively challenged them to put up or shut up.

If they go then it will leave Liverpool up the swanny without a paddle. But while they stay, what is the future for Benitez?

These are difficult times for Liverpool and it's a period of uncertainty. But don't forget that when it comes to spending big then Benitez has been afforded a lot of cash in the past.

Sadly, that money has been blown on quantity rather than quality. You cannot rely on Gerrard (above), Carragher and Torres every week. Outside of those three, who are Liverpool's top players - those that can step into other top teams?

Xabi Alonso comes close but has had a quiet season. Javier Mascherano - good player but doesn't drive games enough.

Then when it comes to Sissoko, Arbeloa and the rest, you can take them or leave them. It's just a shame that band of average players cost tens of millions of pounds and Liverpool are still no closer to winning the title.

...and Lawro said that he's heard one or two things and he said that the Yanks will be out the door before Rafa because of the money situation and the clause in the contract to have the money before Feb they simply dont have the money.

Id say they are looking to sell completely and not just get another investor in.

It will be interesting if true as to who would come in for the club surely DIC want their hands on a Prem team.

I would want DIC, people are gonna be skeptical over whoever comes in but and there's no saying rafa's job would be safe with anyone but at least they've got **** loads of cash. If not QPR will be ahead of us in a few years

Can't argue with any of that. I just hope DIC just come out, squeeze the Yanks and put the cash on the table so they can see it and smell it. Those two will snatch it and run like billy-o as soon as they see the greenbacks..

"Sky and Setanta have the right to choose their games and it will be the same for everyone. So Mr Ferguson will not be complaining about fixtures and a campaign against United.

"Or there is another option. That Mr Ferguson organises the fixtures in his office and sends it to us and everyone will know and cannot complain. That is simple."

                        Good impression.
                        .
Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.

May the Lord bless this post.

Aye said same again on telly, but doubt he knows owt- just trying to look like he does.

As for the players he mentions, well Xabi has been quiet cos he's injured, but so would ****ing Maradona, Momo was ace at 1st & will be sold at a profit, Arbs is a good squad player who cost about £2.5m.

He's have been better pointing to Kuyt & Pennant than them players, but even then the latter was 2ns choice at best. Let's just ignore the facts tho eh?

Media is really really pissing me off right now.
                          3rd place. Worst champions ever.

Oi! I'm a local - I was't suggesting anything of the sort. They had that mindset long before they set foot in God's Country.

If Rafa goes it will be football reasons alone, and if things don't improve, then I'm fully behind that decision.

But....that decision will not be made by the yank, who do not give a flying **** what is going on as long as the club is making money.

They bought the club to sell it on and make a profit, it's as simple as that. We're ****ed, basically. They destabilzed the bid from DIC, which Moores could do nothing about, so they could offer the club to them again a couple of years down the line.

They bought us with loans, which are now loaded onto the club, and haven't invested a single penny of their own cash. They will get the stadium build up and running and then offer us to the highest bidder.

Lets just hope DIC or someone else with real money to invest is still interested. With the stadium on the way we should be an even better proposition.
