Funnily enough, looking at the team sheet, I thought if Rafa gives this team free reign we'd rip another ar*ehole in Luton. I've seen this lineup mess up other teams. But the confidence in their own abilities was woefully lacking and Kuyt has become so bad that even his teammates despair when they see his pass/shot/movement.

Poor guy, I feel for Kuyt. He's like the last-pick four-eyes in a school playground who all the good footballers have a moan at when they're playing sh*t as well.

I thought we lacked a leader in attacking areas and Alonso didn't look to dictate the game which was a problem as he can do the job. Without one we looked directionless and the result was a piss poor performance.

Biggest problem was lack of energy in the middle of the park. Luton ran their hearts out and Alonso and Lucas seemed short of match fitness.

The whole team pulling out of tackles didn't help either. Woeful.

4-4-2 is fine, I just don't think Kuyt fits it....well, I don't know where he fits in at all? He's the weak link.

he werent alone today though mate. Quite a few players made a cunt out of themselves IMO.

i`m still waiting for lucas to have one game where he impresses me, how the **** he won brazilian footballer of the year is baffling me at the moment. he has plenty of time yet to prove me wrong though.

my point is, kuyt was diabolical, yes, but to single him out is giving the other useless pricks that played with him an easy ride

That was us without Gerrard, Torres and Reina. Pretty much everybody else today could be considered first team.

Babel should play up front.

Kuyt is really gone bad and i'm a fan.
Crouch scored but was terrible.
Sami has to go if we are to move forward sadly.

Even if it stinks of desperation we should put a third of the squad up for sale.
Carson,Riise,Hyppia,Pennant,Kewell,Momo,Guthrie,Vo ronin,Crouch and Kuyt.

I feel really sorry or Kuyt, his confidence is completley shot.

He's getting paid 10's of thousands of pounds a week to do his job poorly.

cant even beat luton away.....yet Rafa thinks he can afford to rest some of our best players in vital premiershiip games.....just hope this is rafa's wake up call.
