    Rafa The Man

Says he wants to stay for a long time after the game, Loves the club and the fans. Says he is not going to leave nor does he want to.
Bill shankly to Tommy Smith after he'd turned up for training with a bandaged knee:
'Take that poof bandage off, and what do you mean YOUR knee, it's LIVERPOOL'S knee !'

"Sorry, boss, I should have kept my legs together," said Lawrence. "No, Tommy, your mother should have kept her legs together!," replied Shankly.

    * After Tommy Lawrence had let in a fluke goal between his legs

If being a lovable bloke was the main criteria, Rafa would have a job for life. Sadly winning games is the most important thing.

If he loves it at LFC and wants to stay, he should stop pissing about with players in wrong positions, stop picking Kuyt and actually win games.

              2 things:
              1) Why play Kuyt right wing for most of the game today?
              2) why keep him on when he's playing so, so poorly

Rafa is to blame for keeping him on today whoever he had on the bench

He is on the way to digging his own grave.

He must sell some of the players this window to show that no one is safe and that they need to perform or they are out.
Just believe and you never know what will happen.

According to Benitez it's important not simply to go out to win but to go out prepared to win, which means players have to put in the same level of work on a daily basis. Anything else is unacceptable.

What you want and what you get are 2 different things.

I do not think he will be our manager next year

The only way this season can be satisfactory now is if we comfortably finish top 4 and win the CL.

The FA Cup wont cut it.

I hate to say this to you, but I really hope you are wrong mate.
I may be in a minority now but I really hope he stays. I think aalot depends on the new signing he brings in, if he is given a chance.
I know some will say, he has been given a chance. I also think he has done a great job building the squad. It is obvious some have to go. The workhorses are not working out like Kuyt and Voronin to name a couple.
Top quality is what is required now to make his system work, can Rafa bring it and wil he get the time are the real question I think.

The problem is that he keeps committing these inexplicable Houllier-esque gaffes, and there's no excusing it.

And then I'm expected to adore him?

The really frustrating thing is that I know he can get it right, we've seen him do it, but this season he's just made a cunt of it too often, and it keeps happening. And the worst part is there's no reasonable explanation for it.

But of course we can't criticize the messiah, can we?
