......well anyone who watched the game on sky today will have seen Mike Newell tell us all the Rafa was 'gone' already. Either at the end of the season or sooner (clever that!!). Now, in December 1985, on several occasions, his dad, who was 'well in' with several people at the club, told me (and others) that Kenny Dalglish had 'lost the dressing room' and was soon to be gone. Now I recall we had a quite a reasonable season then!! Sounds just like his dad does our mike, and probabvly knows just as much!!!

He seemed absolutely convinced today that Rafa was going. I know he likes the limelight and can be a bit outspoken at times but was quite unusual to see a pundit on Sky being so brutal about a manager when at the game as opposed to being the comfort of the Soccer Saturday studio.Comment
