We are way too bloody narrow i am sick to death of watching us trying to play through teams, will we ever sign an out and out winger, Pennant is the best winger we have ffs, if only he had the end product. Kewell has lost his pace and his delivery hasn't been up to scratch Benni and Babel come inside all the time, like its not rocket science **** a new centre half or centre forward until we get a proper top class winger with a brain we don't really know how good or bad Kuyt and Crouch are(Voronins pure ****). We have come close to signing quality with Simao, Figo, Queresma, Giannakopolous, Mancini and Guily all targets some lost at the last minute.
Imo think if we'd of signed Simao that time we'd be playing better football, looking back, hes the one that got away. I just hope we get someone in sooner rather than later, Crouchie and Kuyt need proper service not until than can they be judged.

Does rafa know what a winger is ? also in babel and yossi they were the only creative players yesterday and he subbed them,i think rafa is loosing the plot.Were were our other sub standard wingers kewell and pennant.

We need a TOP QUALITY Winger for both flanks, a TOP QUALITY Centre Back, and a TOP QUALITY Striker, before we can seriuosly challenge for the title, IMO....

yet rafa shoves babel out on the left all the time,what i meant was yossi and babel were our only creative players,as for pennant you have to ask why spend £7million on a player many feel is not lfc quality

Dare I say it but we are a 'Ronaldo' away from a top team! The Mancs suffer when he's absent and having someone like him in our team would add a real goal threat from our wide areas as well as supply goals for others.

Without a pacy goal scoring winger our play is too predictable and not enough players score. Look at the team against Wigan. Would you put your house on Pennant, Mach, Alonso or Kewell scoring for us? When you add in Carra, Finnan, Aurelio and Arbeloa - not many goals coming from this lot (week in week out).

Of course I do and so does Rafa. He has been looking for quality on the wings since he got here.

One of his first signings was Nunez and he's made a succession of signings since without even shelling out on 10 million plus player that we've been crying our for since Shaggy left.

It's a shame we are always one player from being the real deal........ Be it a midfield hard man, top striker or top winger.

Well Paul Ince didn't bring us the title, and the signing of Torres has done little to effect our chances.

It's not about on player, it's about believe. We have we are capable of blowing away any team this year, it's just the concistancy we need.
