There is no way in hell that they will fall on their asses over a bridge gap of around 40mill. Not a chance in hell.
You can tell people I said so

If they're so clever explain this to me, why did they release stadium plans in the summer to much fanfair and then realise several months later they couldn't afford to proceed with that design? Why couldn't they foresee the credit crunch and the sub-prime crisis? Because if they didn't either they're in the wrong business or they didn't do their homework. I'm reliably informed by a learned friend of mine that the sub-prime had been mooted up to 2 years ago.White liquid in a bottle = Milk

Agree, seems a bit preposterous. Promising the best players in the world in the first instance, and the powers that be at the club not being receptive to that - then again the yanks did promise Snoogy Doogy.Originally posted by Red Chilli View PostNot going to comment on the rest of it but does anyone take this claim seriously? I mean it's ****ing ridiculous, isn't it?
Had no idea. Care to elaborate? Why was such a tight deadline imposed?Originally posted by AFII View PostI thought everyone knew about that deadline.White liquid in a bottle = Milk

I said it was murmurs. It was one of the contributing factors to why they pulled out. One of them was the longevity in due diligence, the price of shares at Liverpool, the role of Parry, being held at ransom for not replying to their offerOriginally posted by paulcooper4 View Posthow do you know this as fact? and how do you know as fact that is why moores pulled out?

If I remember things right the deadline was about money from EU for the capital of culture thing and some of them from the city.Originally posted by Dhavlos View PostAgree, seems a bit preposterous. That's why it was such a tight deadline. I'm not 100% sure but I think that is correct.Just believe and you never know what will happen.
According to Benitez it's important not simply to go out to win but to go out prepared to win, which means players have to put in the same level of work on a daily basis. Anything else is unacceptable.

Reluctant to lend money? So the problem they are faced with is what they want to use as collateral? If I may suggest to you that the people who have problems lending money are not the rich but the average Joe without assets. It's just a thought of course.Originally posted by Ben Tover View PostDid you read the post or just jumping the gun?
The credit crunch is killing them because banks are reluctant to lend money.
The dollar is weaker to when they took over.
The raw materials for the revamped plans have gone up in price such as steel and glass.
DIC were giving the talk that they would buy Ronaldinho and Kaka to Liverpool. Moores didn't like it for some reason. I don't know.
So before you make your stupid posts read it again throughly. I have left spaces so you can understand, maybe I should have it in bigger writing and illustrate with pictures.
The Us dollar was 0.52 in Marts and is now in 0.50. That's what I call locked currency. My dead granmother has moved more in that given period of time.
They already dealt with the stadium costs as far as I know.
What is it that you're suggesting? That they will lose LFC in february because they couldn't get a loan?!
I would be willing to make a fairly big wager with you about this.
I'm sorry if I offended you with my wording but it just seems so stupid to me to even suggest such things.
We were somewhere around Barstow on the edge of the desert when the drugs began to take hold.
