Klinsman is a friend of Hicks. This is where the story is coming from.

Why does no one speak to Klinsman & ask him if there's any truth in it, Once & for all. I've heard nothing, even Klinsman could come out & say he has had no contact with LFC about being manager. Then again maybe the media dont want the question answered, they prefer to prolong the uncertainty in order to damage our morale. After all, we know MOST journo's are SCUM.

I'm sure that Klinsmann made a big fuss about intrusion from the German media. And that job was only for a couple of years. I really can't see how he would cope with the pressure of being our boss.

Don't want Rafa to go, but if he did we'd need to find a manager who fits the suitable medium of having pedigree but also class and dignity to go with it. Mourinho has the first not the latter, Klinsmann has the latter but not the first. But I don't think we can afford to sacrifice too much of one to fulfil the other.

We already have the man that fits the bill which is why IMO talk of sacking Rafa is crazy.

All this story is based on will be his agent keeping his name in the media. There is no way he will manage our club. Disgrace what is happening.

The press are claiming it is Gilett that wants him though.

Absolutely it is a disgrace. I'd like to think there is no chance that he'd be our manager, but at this moment in in time I wouldn't put anyhting past our new "custodians"

No club management experience whatsover. Would be a disaster, I'm completely unconvince by him.

They will want someone with knowledge and experience running the club. Also would you want someone in charge of your company that had to take time off from it all after 6 months of managing a national side. The guy doesn’t have the desire and could leave them in the lurch after a couple of months (days) of dealing with the English press. It is a joke story.
Think this sums up my view exactly but for one last thing, we should not be debating our manager's replacement as he is still the manger and deserves respect whilst still in the job.

Oh I agree with you absolutely in that we need to be focussing on supporting our manager rather than debating possible replacements, and I said as much yesterday. Unfortunately for whatever reason these stories don't seem to be going away, and that is very disconcerting.

If we sign this Slovakian fella today then surely the fact that Rafa is being allowed to buy players should bode well for his future at the club?

The reason why the stories don't go away is that no-one is bothering to ask G&H, they just print **** that they know won't be answered. Out of the 'big 4' we are the club with the new owners, alledgedley under achieving, down scaling on the stadium even though its the design they are altering not the capacity so it doesn't have an impact on future revenue from gate receipts so it's easy to write **** about our club.
When Mourinho left it was Chelsea in disarray, they didn't comment in the press, they appointed Grant and let him get on with it.
How do we know the yanks are even aware of all the stories?, yes they could come out and back Rafa but they did that a couple of weeks ago so why repeat it every week.
They asked Parry about his meeting in America, Parry replied it was a long standing diary appointment about the new stadium design but as that's not juicy enough they make up **** about it being Rafa's job.
The King was back for a short while. Long live The King.
