Thanjk you.

Tom, Rafa coming out in public and saying what he said, whether true or not, clearly implies that Klinsmann was not or at least may not have been Bayern's first choice. So it immediately undermines his appointment.
This way it builds up Klinsmann in the eyes of the fans, muddies the waters over whether he was first choice and also serves to get back at Rafa at the same time.
Whether any of what's been claimed is actually true is, in a way, beside the point.
Now you're doing exactly what what your slagging other people off for. Speculating.
To be frank, I've got no idea whether this story is true or not. The papers are running with it though so i expect a full and swift denial from Parry sometime today. If we don't get one I'll be very concerned.
Too ****en right

Of course you will be, because when it comes to all things LFC you're a nervous wreck at the moment. I feel for AF's sanity as well...he's in pieces, poor lad.
I'm not in pieces.
If Masch stays then Rafa stays IMO. That is the key for me so until he signs a long term deal then I will be a little bit worried and you never know what dumb and dumber will come up with next.
Probably another joke statement that means nothing at all.
Just believe and you never know what will happen.
According to Benitez it's important not simply to go out to win but to go out prepared to win, which means players have to put in the same level of work on a daily basis. Anything else is unacceptable.
Lads, even if you get the statement you crave from Parry you'll all still be wrapped in a state of paranoia. You've convinced yourselves that Rafa's done for and as a club we're f**ked.
You see, without intending to sling mud, this is what I don't get with you.
You keep alluding to what Klinsmann got the job offer, and crack jokes about him being offered the manager position, but you haven't heard anything from solid sources about it.
I take it you go by what you read in papers, plus adding in what you heard through the grapewine about the owners on other issues.
I sure as hell don't think everything is rosy, but I also think this is rumour mongering is not helping our cause at all.
Please read my post, I said I haven't got a clue whether this story was true or not and hoped that Parry denied it today. I also said earlier that I'd heard nothing about the Klinsmann story I most certainly did not allude to the any information that klinsmann was offered the job
****'s sake if you're going to join in with the other jokers slagging me off on here get your facts right.

Tom, for the record, I'm not slagging you off. I know you're a red through and through and you're concerned with what's going on but you're far too negative these days. Some of us choose to take a different stance to yours and that's what we're doing here.
How completely ridiculous this whole thing is becoming
I hate modern football and everything that comes with it.
And I especially hate the fact that media reports based on supposition, with vague sources, seem to matter more to sections of our fans than actual quotes from the actual people involved.
Bascombe says Hicks/Gilette want to sack Rafa. They say they don't. We believe.... err Bascombe, 'cause he's not a stupid Yank.
Some other random piss-artists in the media say we offered the job to Klinsman. He says we didn't. We believe... errrr....
etc etc etc
Funny thing is, IF we lose/play **** this afternoon, this board'll be full of reactionary "Rafa should go" posts. Of course, "The Yanks" will still be morons to most of those posters, what the **** do they know after all?
And on and on and on and on

No, that's bull****.
We have a quote from the Horse's mouth saying he had no approaches from England. The Press are running a story saying the complete opposite.
Personally I want a new contract for Rafa. He is the only ******* bending over backwards trying to take this club forward.
BACK HIM!!!!FFS

You're within your rights to think there aren't serious problems with the club and that rafa is not danger. I happen to think the balance of evidence such as it is, points the other way.

Correct. If there is no denial of this accusation TODAY (eg very soon) I will have to admit that Rafa's days are indeed over. That for me will represent one of our most ridiculous football decisions ever.

Mate I wasn't referring to you
There is a group of people on here who usually start their posts to me with "you used to be a respected poster...but"
I'm pretty sure going on what i hear both in the press and without that rafa's a gonna. On the balance of evidence I'm unimpressed with the Yanks, and yes, I would prefer alternative owners. I fully accept that not everyone is going to hold that view though.

Ah MrMichael, tis the nature of the Beast that is the Internet.
I wouldn't hold your breath about G+H statements, they tend to have fluid meanings. Ask Snoogy doogy.

lol, yeah I know, its just frustrating. And I certainly don't hold my breath about what G&H have to say, I just, well, find it a little more interesting than what some hack trying to push his own paper-selling agenda has to say. The fact that some people are calling for them to make a statement to deny this latest bollocks is amusing - if they did, the same people would probably be posting "bah, who believes these ****s anyway, remember snoogy doogy etc etc etc". Essentially they can't win.
Scenario for you. This season goes properly tits up. Rafa continues to pick baffling sides and formations, Kuyt is an ever present for the remaining games, and we finish outside the top 4. Infact, we finish behind Everton. No silverware at all in the remaining cups either.
How many fans do you think would say Rafa should go? And how many of those would then think that maybe H&G had it right all along (assuming the media have been right about all that)? I'd say lots for the former, but hardly any for the latter. Which seems a bit cockeyed to me.
Not that I'm anything other than behind Rafa btw, or anything other than unsure about the owners. Hell, I still think Kuyt could turn it around

For me this is a 2-way street. We have serious problems in the attacking third of the pitch at present, and it needs sorting out this window (or at least we need to START to do somethign about it NOW). Rafa needs to do better in this area, and G & H need to give him the money to do it NOW. Not the summer now.
I'm really pleased we've signed Skrtel, but we have more pressing matters; the quality and form of Kewell, Leto, Benayoun, Pennant, Babel, Crouch, Kuyt & Voronin. I for one would dearly love to see some movement in the next few days nowthe Skrtel deal is sorted, and hopefully some important decisions about the stadium have been taken.
But we desperately, desperately need to start sorting out our attacking problems. 19 days and counting....
