****'s sake if you're going to join in with the other jokers slagging me off on here get your facts right.
Well, I did read you post, so please remain polite.

Here is a part of it:

"As for Klinsmann denying it. Well his sports consultancy firm do work for Gillette don't they. He's not going to bugger up a lucrative business relationship by spilling the contents of private negotiations in the international press is he?"

I did not allude that you said you had info on this, you categorically denied that - but your quote above does question the truth in Klinsmanns statement and thus, to me at least, hint at the opposite - the rumours of him being offered the LFC job being true, hence my post above.

And I am not going to join a "band of jokers" - I am fairly certain that you don't think all that debate your points are jokers.

I don't want to get in an argument over this, so I will leave it here.
We both want the best for the club, and we both think things are not perfect behind the scenes.

I just think it is time to support the manager and not engage in debates about replacements, admittedly I asked questions about the topic, but I will back out of that debate now as I see nothing good coming from continuing.

The Guardian this morning reports Jurgen Klinsmann yesterday admitted he had been presented with a "detailed offer" to take charge at Anfield but confirmed that he would instead take over as coach of Bayern Munich next season. So all the rumours were true and our cowboy owners are looking to offload Rafa. Comes out of the mouth of a man offered the job. You need to believe all the press rumours.

Ok mate. They couldn't have just copied the story from the Mail or anything. It must be true. We're all f**king doomed.

Hang on, there's direct quotes from him earlier in this thread saying the complete opposite.......

More recently, he had been linked with Newcastle and Liverpool, but when asked why he had chosen Bayern over the Premier League, he replied: "Because I did not have any offers from England."

Oh, and though I don't necessarily dispute the "cowboy owners" tag, I could quite easily find many a post on here from a section of our cowboy fans wanting to offload Rafa themselves at various points this season.

Hell, one departed ex-member's last words to the mods in the sinbin back in September were "You fools, Rafael Benitez is ruining our club".

As I said earlier, lets see what's said about that on here later if Rafa plays a bizarre formation today, subs Gerard for Riise when we're 3 - 0 down, then says we're "turning a corner" in the post match press conference.

Not that this will happen as we're going to convincingly beat Boro with a display of attacking football , but I do feel there's a point there........

**** off Klinsmann you cunt. You've got a job and you're no longer on the football scrap heap. So there's no need to try and boost your profile, ego and credibility by having your ridiculous, unproven, name linked with a much bigger job at a bigger club than the one you're joining. Cunt. **** off and don't allow your pathetic name, non-existent reputation and your hollow managerial record to ever be linked with Liverpool FC again, and least of all to be suggested as the replacement for a Champions League winning Liverpool legend, whose shoes you're not fit to wipe, let alone fill.

Er, Dhavlos, I think it's really unlikely Klinsmann is actually a regular reader of est.
                  .
Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.

May the Lord bless this post.

If the relationship is indeed strained and they wanted to get rid of him, that summer budget would've been ripped up and pissed down the bog. You don't give a manager 6 million quid + to spend on a reserve centre half if you also want to sack him...and end up having to pay millions of pounds in compensation to the manager as well.

Now, you could look negatively at the situation which you're doing (even though it's guaranteed that you'll deny such an accustation) and then you're theory would makes sense.

You see, a couple of weeks ago people were saying if we don't spend a penny in the transfer window then Rafa's a goner. And I'd go along with that. But spending 6 million quid plus on a back up defender in the transfer window speaks volumes for me.
Agree wholheartedly Sammy mate, there is no way in the world given the supposed current financial climate at the club that they would spend 6 mill on a back up centre half unless Rafa was staying put.
The Mascherano situation also makes sense get rid of Momo for 10 mill and we'll sign Mascher.

He's hardly going to go into details of other offers he received when he is being unveiled as the next Bayern Munich manager.

I don't want to believe these rumours but there's so many of these Klinsmann ones flying about there must be a grain of truth in there somewhere.
