In any case if it was Rafa's job i'm starting to detest these yanks, I mean if it had been someone good I'd maybe not be as bothered, but ****ing klinsman what the hell has he ever done, ****ing retarted decision if it ever had of happened
Well, more and more points to that Klinsmann was offered the job, nothing really points to that he wasn't offered the job.

Gillett, Hicks or Parry hasn't said a thing the whole day and that is after it has been all over the press, papers, radio, tv, that Klinsmann was offered the job. Not a word from them to deny it.

I don't think Rafa is that clueless that he don't can see that we need another quality striker or we will risk losing out on fourth place if Torres gets injured. He just isn't getting the money to do anything about it.
Just believe and you never know what will happen.

According to Benitez it's important not simply to go out to win but to go out prepared to win, which means players have to put in the same level of work on a daily basis. Anything else is unacceptable.

If...and it's a big if....if the Americans offered the job to Klinsmann, with a man of class, dignity and honour already in the post, then it's time to panic. Not only is it treacherous, football-wise it defies belief. Klinsmann FFS. The Americans' lack of knowledge on the game is a worry.

However, I still refuse to believe Klinsmann was offered the job. It can't be true.

If he was offered the job the owners are as much to blame for this slump as anyone. If they want to offer him the job then fair enough but at least do it discretely. That way it has less an effect on things now but the speculation about Rafa has created doubt at the club and when that doubts there you do **** all as we're seeing now.

Surely they would take advice from people in the know? They're not qualified to make such a decision. Ian Dowie will no doubt be offered the job if that's the case.

              You'd like to think so.

I was wondering about this, though. It sounds daft but say, for arguments sake, Rafa goes - who decides who our new gaffer's gonna be? Hicks & Gillett? With advice from Parry?

In fairness to Krusty, he got us Rafa (the feather in Parry's cap), but the final decision would have to rest with H & G...and if Klinsmann is their idea of a Liverpool manager, then I despair.

Well, it would explain why some of the players don't care at all on the pitch anymore. The only really good halfs we have played since the Marseille game is the second half against City and the home game against Pompey.

Some of the players don't give a **** anymore, there must be a very good reason to why they act the way they do.

If Klinsman was offered the job it begs the question

Why is Rafa still at the club?

Obviously a big if, and i'm only going by what Green reported on 5Live, it must be utterly humiliating to have your job offered to some else in such a public manner.

Given Rafa's experience with the board at Valencia we know he's a man who does not like boardroom interference and he's more than capable of walking away if and when he decides the time is right,

I think Rafa has fallen for Liverpool (both the football club and the city) so much that he'll never walk away. He'll have to be dragged out kicking and screaming, and that's one of the reasons I love the man so much.

I hope that it the case. It makes what's happening, both in the boardroom and on the pitch, all the more galling.

He loved Valencia to bits but he left them.

Who used to decide, Moores and Parry? I'm guessing that it will be same again, i.e. the board of directors and the CEO.

I think under Moores he could have constructive input but under the new owners he's more of a yes man.

I see Martin O'Neill has been mentioned by the gutter press as well which is a huge step down from Rafa.

Surely in order for them to get the maximum out of their investment it has to perform well? If that's the case then whoever is appointed would have to be a much better manager tha Rafa.

Who realistically is there though? Unfortunately, the calls for Mourinho are only getting louder and louder.

Why would he leave sunny Southern California and move to Liverpool? He had a chance to be the US manager which meant he would have to travel 15 minutes to work. Load of money and not alot of pressure. Is he linked just because he lives in the US and both our owners are from the US.
