Dixon and Peacock are both pretty good. The chemistry isn't needed - good analysis is what's needed. You get chemistry with Ian ****e.

A strike force of Tevez/Rooney/Saha and Berbatov backed by attacking mids of Ronaldo/Giggs/Scholes/Anderson and Nani. Not exactly rocket science as to where the league is most likely to end up is it!

Did anyone hear that PLEB Gavin Peacock on last Saturday’s MOTD?

The other week he talked about a striker having “the three As”. This time he said:

”He gets into what we call in the game POMO – ‘the position of most opportunity’ – and he sticks it in the back of the net…”

POMO!!!!! I think this tool has been on too many coaching courses. It’s embarrassing. POMO my arse.

when england won the rugby world cup, their mantra was TCUP - Thinking Correctly Under Pressure.

Sir Clive concentrated most of his training on the mental side of the game. The program they did (a fly on the wall during the build up to the tournament) is a great watch

Haha. What a load of bollocks.

I know Woodward did exceptionally well but all this TCUP and POMO stuff is a complete load of poppycock, IMO.

How does a mantra like ‘TCUP’ actually help? Yeah yeah….thinking correctly under pressure. That’s obvious. Why state the obvious and turn into an acronym?

Because what fires together wires together. Its basic sport psychology stuff. Visualisation techniques and constant re-inforcement lead to winning mental processes.... at least that's what my mate the sports psych says.

                          Teves: Excellent Striker
                          Rooney: Good player, but over-rated
                          Saha: Darren Anderton
Ronaldo: brilliant player, one of the worlds best
                          Giggs: Past it
                          Scholes: Past it
                          Anderson: Unproven

Man U are not as good as everyone thinks!

Yes but compare them to the strike forcec of other teams, they are ****in miles ahead of us with the exception of Torres!! I'd rather have Rooney, Ronaldo and Giggs over Kuyt, Voronin & Kewell !!

Anderson: Unproven After a poor start he's starting to look like a very good deal
                                Nani: No worse than Babel
