Number 13 is free but maybe some players are too superstitious although it didn't do Danny Murphy any harm - until he got injured, Rafa transferred him away from his favourite team, he started losing his hair and his wife left him...
Also not yet taken are numbers 24, 26 - 29, 31 and 32. He wore number 3 for both Zenit St Petersburg and Slovakia so what's the significance of number 37?

this is what gets me wit this signing, 6 or 7 million for us is a lot of money for a defender, he'll not want to sit on the bench and i actually like a settled centre back pairing. i'd hate for rafa just to tinker our centrebacks for the sake of it.
Now that we know agger is back this week unless we are really unlucky we only needed sami as real back up.
Our central defense on the whole has had limited tinkering and is better for it. i just hope that it stays that way. be interesting to see what happens now carra and agger are both fit. will we see more of 3 at the back? will he start dropping carra?
