Merson is all over the media shooting his mouth off. McGrath has never done that he's a genuinely nice guy, very humble and an all round top bloke. He's also one of the best defenders in Europe over the past twenty years and one of Ireland's greatest ever players.

If that doesn't deserve respect I don't know what does.
