It isn't laughable in the slightest! I love Liverpool. I hate Man United. Ergo, I don't like McGrath. Simple!!

I just couldn't care less about him and I'm sure the same applies to most non-Irish Reds.

I think the one thing we can all agree on is we hate the mancs however does that mean we don't respect a great footballer when we see one. McGrath played in a different era in a piss poor united team tbh so I wouldn't hold it against him. I think it's classless to say we don't respect him because he is a manc. That type of talk comes from mancs not liverpool supporters because we have more class and grace then them ****s. (that's not directed at you shaggy btw)

Grow fuicking up,he played most of his career and certainly his best football at Villa and in a green shirt.

The man struggled against amazing odds,horrible childhood,terrible injuries and a struggle with alcholism,he deserves more then to be treated as a laughing stock by you little pricks. :whatever:

An incredible player in his day, and, by his own admission, his best football was certainly played away from ManU.. (even won his PFA award at Villa)
Any football fan worth his salt could see the talent that was there, and who knows what level the man could have been considered at if things had gone differently..
Even so, I'd still have him as the best player I've seen play for Ireland and one of the best players I ever had the pleasure to see in the flesh (so to speak)
