We didn't really get troubled by them barring the goal and the one off the post.

Pepe had a few rushes of blood, sprinting out of his area and missing on one occasion.
    Arbeloa was dreadful.
Riise was very poor in front of him and only slightly better when he went to LB.
Sami had his usual "hoof" moments......not too bad otherwise.
Carra made some crucial tackles and blocks.
Finnan did ok but didn't make the most of some of his possession and was being caught for pace.
Stevie looked like he'd rather have been somewhere else. Too deep, lacking interest, frightened to shoot, not tackling, no encouragement to the team. He only came to life after the goal.
Mascher was by far our best player, running and tackling with passion.
Yossi was anonymous. Might as well have stayed in the dressing room.
Voronin was truly awful. Only once did he make a run in to space (the pass didn't come) and he couldn't pass or control the ball.
Torres was quite quiet until the goal but he didn't get too much in the way of service.

We improved when Babel came on. He did ok on the left but no end product.
Xabi did ok when he came on.
Kujt had one chance but chose to play the ball back across rather than go for goal.

Pretty damn disappointing but we scored for the first time in ages at the Riverside. We didn't lose when we probably should have and we could/should have snatched the win at the end.
Sorry you had to pay to witness that pile of ****e Gary.
Thankx for taking the time to post when no doubt you're so pissed off.

Hardly grounds for giving him significantly more money, is it?

Man U's title win was in large part down to the return of Scholes (who was out for the most part of the previous season) and the excellent form of Ronaldo and Rooney who seemed to go up a level last season compared to their previous seasons' performances, ie the players already at the club. Rafa outspending Ferguson in that summer is irrelevant if Fergie already had a much better team and players, which he did IMO.

Yep. Fergie needed some obvious places changing like wingers, striker and a midfielder.

I have to give credit, even though I would hate to, to David Gill and his buddies, they get the ****ing transfers in and out. No hassle, no ****ing about with silly little ties and poorly constructed jerry curls. Its bish bash bosh. Bingo ****ing bango.

The truth is that the other top teams have two ball playing central defenders, we don't and the attacks start from the back.

We hoof the ball and then our central midfield must first get it back and then we can start to build our attacks against an already organized defense. We have more or less no quick counter attacks.

But how would the Mancs be doing in the league if they didn't have Ferdinand for three months??

They're missing scholes for the last god knows how long and it doesn't affect them. Psychologically they're far stronger than us. They have a much better mentality. Now there's a word eh?

It doesn't seem to affect them. Teams naturally play defensive against them. Ferdinand is their holding player if you were to look at it.
Wes Brown or O Shea would slot in, it wouldn't affect them unless they played a big side like Arsenal or Chelsea.

I am not including us as a big side because frankly we are pants.

                                Balls!

I am sorry but at the end of the day we drew!

                                Not Bl++dy good enough!

Someone is to blame. It may be Rafa, it may be players and it may be the club, but we drew.

I am a red and will always be one but not happy.

Something has to be sorted quick or we will not get 4th spot.

Lets face it we will get 4th at the most.

I think we have a good enough squad, not good enough to win the league but enough to challenge, and we at the moment are shait.

Something has to change and fast or we will be no good for years.

The top 3 are very good and much better than us, but soon its going to be the top 3 everyone is talking about and not the top 4.

i know its a bit harsh but at the moment its true. We will be lucky to finish 4th and if not we could be down as low as 8th.

I was in the wigan game and it cost me a few hundred quid to be there. i dont mind the cost at all and loved being there, but i could have gone to my local club and seen as good soccer for a fiver.

My god i am being harsh but i so much want us to do well, but cant see it happenig for a while. The locals after the wigan game wanted RB outand booded team off and i hadnt heard that before. But i am slightly agreeing with them.

Lets hope we pull out of this ****. One good win and we could be on the way.

Do you notice that the top 3 dont have these blips which last like ours? If they get a bad result they bounce back with a win.

I have had a beer, and I hope you get my point of view.

                                Cheers
