the shining light in our season, we'd be absolutely ****ed without him, he partly left atletico for that reason, and now the same thing has happened here

If I'm being completly honest I didn't really know an awful lot about Fernando Torres (I'd heard of him of course). I thought when we paid £21mil for him, it was way too much and that he'd be a failure.

But what a signing he's been so far...unbeaulivable. He's been nothing short of a revelation.

Another who will be go down as an LFC legend I'm sure.

He is the best signing of Liverpool for a very long long time. Probably since Barnes.

i think sami would be up there, but central defenders dont excite, if torres continues to progress at this rate, he will be awesome, the thing is , a lot of his goals are created by him, if we had better service and a better partner for him, he would break records

We wont have a problem with Torres as he has shown his loyalty in the past and Im sure he will with us. He will give us the 4 years to get it right and if we havent by that stage then who could blame the lad for moving on.

Ridiculous thought but since 5pm I have been thinking "what if we sold Stevie? Im sure Barca would like him...hmmm, Ronnie anyone?"

Liverpool, ahh sweet Liverpool, why have thou forsaken me?

Sami wasn't a signing who would provide magic moments like this.

If Torres gets a better strike partner like Berbatov or Benzema or Aguero (fingers crossed) we can have a better chance of winning the title.

Will he stay if Rafa goes? Will his performances drop?

I hope not. I would like to think Torres is a Liverpool fan and Rafa comes in the package.

Without Torres we'd be Donald Ducked this season

I thought he'd be steady in his first season. He's shocked me at just how well he's done. He had loads of responsibilty at Atletico and he's now got just as much here

Probably wonders what the **** he's got himself into..!

When we're back on form, and Torres is playing like he is, and has a good strike partner - then we'll be some ****in team

Oh come on guys. Yes he left Atletico because he wanted to win a title, yet here he is at Liverpool with title chances gone (well, do you still believe?). HOWEVER, he has a chance to play in the Champions' League, where I think we'll go all the way this year, beating the Mancs in the final.

                              Thanks for Torres Rafa .....

The man's a legend already at LFC. Can't ever remember a signing making such an impression. Can't think of a weakness that the kid has in his game. He is just superb.

Now if only the ****e around him would up their game 20-30% we'd be right up with Arsenal et al.
