Coming into a club for big money and has undoubted talent but its going to take a bit of time for it to come through. When it does though, I think Babel is going to be a great player.

completely agree. he needs to be running onto through balls than ****in about on the wing. maybe rafa gave him his first taste of it yesterday when he switched him up front

Babel certainly has potential and the only way he will improve is if Rafa gives him a chance to prove what he is capable of. A couple of games up front would give him the chance to show if he and torres could make the striking partnership we desperately need. This will only work if rafa gives him a run of games.

This boy will come good, he just needs some confidence and I believe this is why Rafa is bedding him in this way.

Is it me or has Babel had about 20 fantastic efforts that have all gone about an inch wide of the far post? Every week he comes on, cuts in from the left, and either ROCKETS or bends a lovely effort about an inch wide. Rotten luck....such fine margins.

If it's true that we are to put out a strong team against Luton, then I would like to see him partner someone up front. I think he is going to be a fantastic player, when you watch him its obvious he has grew up with a completely different formation and it is taking time for him to adjust.

Play him against a depleated Luton team and hopefully his confidence will soar and he will start knocking on the door for a permanent place in the team (well as permanent as possible in Rafa's selections)

It looks as if Crouch will be going if not this month then in the summer, Kuyt works tirelessly during a game but never gets into a goal scoring position whereas Voronin is just pure dog****.

Give Babel a run of games up front, it's not as if he could score any less than our other strikers

Surely his luck will have to change sooner or later.
I just love watching him play, you can tell he has alot of confidence in his own ability, not afraid to take players on and have a shot even if he's not having the best of games.
I think we'll see more flashes of his brilliance this season but next season he'll be flying from the start

He's got a lot of potential, is fast and athletic, he can also be quite tricky. John Barnes he aint but if he can sort out his decision-making he could be going places.
