Did far better than Arbeloa at LB yesterday though. Untilwe buy a LB who will stay fit I think we have to keep Riise.
    Forwards.......

Play him up front against Luton and lets see what he does. I would put money on him scoring at least 2.

Yes, we do need a better replacement before he is sold. However, his contract situation might force the issue.

He doesn't start as his decision making is not up to scratch. He is also seems to be quite greedy which probably doesn't bode too well with Rafa.

However, he will get better with experience.

He reminds me of Nani in the sense that they both have so much potential, but are still too raw.

I've said it before and I'll say it again - Babel deserves a run in the side now!

He has a thundering shot and, as has been said, has been very unlucky not to score more than the six goals he's scored so far. He deserves a start and I'd also like to see him up top alongside Torres.

He's a strong runner, a goal threat, and creates chances every game he plays - he is, simply put, a big threat for the opposition.

As I've said before, the only reason I see that Rafa doesn't start him that often is because he hardly had a rest over the summer as he was playing for the Dutch team. I see him figuring a lot more next season though. But I just wish Rafa' start him more often as I think his confidence would grow even more then!

I think he'll become a top player for us. He should be starting every week ahead of average players such as Riise and Kewell and eventually I'd like to see him get a run of games up front.

Right now I'd like to see Babel play off Torres, along with Kewell on the left and Benayoun on the right. That would give us pace up top, genuine support & creativity for Torres, the ability to switch with the wide players if required during a move without the players looking like fish out of water, along with the option of SG to arrive late into the box.

For I'd start that formation over the next 5-6 games stick with it and see how it goes so we can gemnerate some consistency / undertsanding.

I'd like that but I'd prefer Gerrard out wide.
