He will always be remembered as a Liverpool legend regardless. Problem is the way I see it, is that today's events could have a destabilising and demoralising impact on the players, thus making much harder for Rafa to get the best out of them. Maestro has said that team spirit is shot to pieces at the mo, and you can well believe it judging from performances and attitudes on the pitch. I just hope this sorry affair has a galvanising affect on the team and that the siege mentality comes to the fore and it unites the players and management. Sadly I can't see it. G&H seem hell bent on stacking the decks firmly against Rafa.Originally posted by dww View PostI just hope he gets the team playing well. **** everything and everyone outside the trinity of fans, players and the manager. We need to start wining and getting so positive feeling about the club.
If Rafa has to go he should go out gloriously and always be remembered as a LFC legend.

i`m claiming to be a Rafa fan and have no ****ing idea how he`s feeling because i`ve no idea how much he knew/Knows about the klinsmann approach.I also have no idea what hicks has said to him today.Originally posted by ShaggyAlonso View PostThis is clearly no soap opera mate. Well it is.....of the Americans' making.
Again.
You claim to be a Rafa fan yet you're just dismissing the notion that he might just be a bit ****ing devastated about this sordid affair.
I do know that rafa should be regreting starting this in that PC.

Most fans will feel that a Liverpool legend has been betrayed today, stabbed in the back, and I'm one of them.
That is exactly how I feel about it mate. I've been one of the wait and see people but this today has made me feel that G&H shouldn't be allowed anywhere near the club.

Acquaint yourself with the facts, he tried to do it privately but they wouldn't even return his calls. He couldn't speak to Foster as he'd buggered off back home. The press was the last resort.Originally posted by Jimthered View PostNo, I am saying the manager should have been sacked for being totally unprofessional and acting like some spoilt bitch who had her ipod taken away.
If Rafa can only stand up for himself in this way , instead of dealing with it in a private manner (ie, "the Liverpool way" ) then we probably wouldnt be in this position today.
As to how someone becomes a liberal leftie by stating they believe a manager should be sacked is laughable at best. The Crushing Machine MKII

He'll be sacked if Inter knock us out of the CL IMO,since they were about to do it if we hadn't got out of the group. He's been knifed in the back by that fat ****er but if he is going to be sacked they should do it now so we can try salvage something from this season. No way I want him sacked but its there for all to see that its affecting the club from top to bottom. If it were me i'd have told him to stick his job, suppose thats what the fat cunt wants though. That said with Klinnsman as their first choice I can't bear thinking about what gob****e will end up being offered it next.
I hope the players come out in support of him, both verbally and on the pitch.make him unsackable with good results, and the support of players and fans.

There is no reason that whatever external factors there are the manager and players shouldn't be able to raise themselves. Even towards the end of the Ged reign whatever you say about the football we put together the results to qualify for the CL and that didn't look likely for a while earlier in the season.
I've had enough of the speculation and bull****. Who knows what the long term future has in store for our great club - we need to back the team and the team needs to start playing for the supporters and the manager."The man who never alters his opinion is like standing water, and breeds reptiles of the mind."
