    David Moores

I was lucky enough to be in the directors box on Saturday @ Boro, and before the game David Moores came into the Directors Guest Lounge.

He had a face like thunder, said something to Steve Gibson & they both disappeared into the boardroom

No sign of Parry at all

I think he has been shafted by these 2 cowboys, for all the criticism he gets he is a true fan & I believe he wanted the best for the club. He may be accused of being naive falling for all the bull**** they fed him & us

Not much I know but thought it was worth sharing

exactly fella, he was pushed into a very difficult position, he didn't want to get rid, realised he would have to, and the pressure of the new stadium, and us not delivering for so long, probably contributed to the sale.

He probably just found out Riise was starting on the left of midfield.

I think we were all taken in by the yanks talk, Moores included. They might still pull it off, but they are doing it the wrong way.
          Oh I don't know.

He had a deadline to meet and in the end had no other choice than to sell to G&H or the club would have missed out on the millions from the City and EU.
Just believe and you never know what will happen.

According to Benitez it's important not simply to go out to win but to go out prepared to win, which means players have to put in the same level of work on a daily basis. Anything else is unacceptable.

Bottom line-he owned the club-he made the decision to sell to Hicks and Gillett-he's responsible for the **** the club is now in. Useless ****.

Edit: this is depressing to read, but cheers for passing it on.

Imagine his face later when he also realised Voronin was upfront!! I'm surprised the poor ******* didn't launch himself off the top of the Riverside

Enough of the personal abuse, mate. Say what you like about David Moores but he loves this club. Sure he may have made a bad decision but personal abuse like that is un-called for.

Christ aye, that would've been a better line.

Mind you, I'd have a face like thunder too if I'd loaned someone 10 million quid to buy Dirk Kuyt.

You forgot to say "in your opinion". In my opinion the personal abuse is well earned. This is the man who has got us where we are today. I don't care what his feelings for LFC are . I am only concerned at his total lack of judgement and the resulting mess the club is due to the decisions he made. It took him FIVE YEARS to sort out a buyer for the club and he comes up with Hicks and Gillett. The adjective "****" seems fairly mild in this scenario-in my opinion.
