You forgot to say "in your opinion". In my opinion the personal abuse is well earned. This is the man who has got us where we are today. I don't care what his feelings for LFC are . I am only concerned at his total lack of judgement and the resulting mess the club is due to the decisions he made. It took him FIVE YEARS to sort out a buyer for the club and he comes up with Hicks and Gillett. The adjective "****" seems fairly mild in this scenario-in my opinion.

Only because we needed investment to move the club forward as Moores didn't have the financial clout needed to take us that next step forward. It's unfortunate but in hindsight now it does look like a **** up.

David Moores always handled himself with a lot of grace and politeness, he is one of us and he did what he thought, and was advised by coco to do, was best. It was a mistake but who doesnt make mistakes eh?
At least he was genuine. Unlike some americans who currently have control over our mighty club.

I will never forget his face in tears while being on a bus parade after we won in Istanbul. Genuine emotions. I can't see G&H on that bus if we win it again (or PL title for that matter). Heck, I don't even think they would be on the same continent

Oh believe me. Those two would front and centre of that bus as it made it's way down Scotland Road towards town. They'd make sure that their presence was known.

Can you imagine that. To own, and love a Football club and for us to win the European cup for the first time in ages! Amazing....It nearly killed me so im sure Moores was in a worse state. Despite what the yanks have done I dont for one moment blame David Moores. In fact I admire the chap for trying to do what was best for the club despite the fact it meant that he would lose control over his beloved football club. Great sacrifice.

**** off with that ****, he was pressurised by a lot of people fans included to sell the club and if he was told like us all that they would do this and they would do that then he has to take them at their word how he could he know that they were a bunch of back stabbing ****s.

If he wanted what was best he would have sold in 96/98 or there abouts. Shirley.

Has this club not been in stagnation or even spiralling downwards ever since Moores got the shares in 91? We certainly didn't progress much did we?

Maybe you can't fault Moores for selling to G&H but you sure as hell can fault him for not selling sooner imo.

The fact that we havn't got a bigger stadium yet can only be blamed on Moores imo. Should have been started as soon as scum started expanding O.T.
