Your wasting your time writing to little old ladies who answer customer relations letters in some odd city which probably has never heard of Liverpool. Im sure this woman probably gave your letter abouts 2 seconds thought

REFERENCE : Tom Hicks and George Gillett

I would like to draw your attention to some items that are very urgent in connection to the proposed re-financing of the loan that hicks and gillett took out last year with the Royal Bank of Scotland.

In the time that mr hicks and mr gillett have been at the club there has been more unrest than at any phase in our history. It has been made worse because of the short time that these two have been the ourtight owners of the club (i believe that they were confirmed as such in august 2007). In this time they have managed to alientate the vast majority of the support, destroy their relationship with one the the best managers in the world and have placed the club under considerable debt.

Worse of all, it turns out that they are having difficulty borrowing the money and are looking to bring in outside investment and if this is not secured we may be owned outright by the royal bank.

I can assure you that the fans have now decided to take matters into their own hands and our actions such as on-line demonstrations, pitch side banner and chanting, forum protests have started the ball rolling.

In addition to this, fans are beginning to stay away from matches, deciding not to purchase club merchandise and not supporting sponsors products.

In the short time they have owned the club, I have never seen such antagonism and hatred towards any previous owner. They promised to uphold the values of our club and our heritage. They have destroyed the respect that we once commanded and are now in the process of destroying the very fabric of our club. This is not the Liverpool Way.

We will not stop until these two leave our club..

This is their reply to me...

A non-starter but nice of them to reply anyhow. I wonder what action their advocate group will take - Hicks and Gillett must be crapping themselves.

I imagined Sharon as being in her twenties.
          .
Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.

May the Lord bless this post.

In this particular case I wasn't being entirely serious, probably about as seriously as I took the original e-mail sent to Wachovia

I must admit thought, it is one of the things that irritates me when people generalise "the fans" and "the majority want" etc etc when they haven't asked me first

I will keep trying until these two ****ers leave town. I'll gladly pay their airfare out of liverpool.

Seriously, I have posted maybe 30 posts in one and abit years on here but look at the forums everyday and about 25 of those posts have been in the past week. This subject has got me more wound up than when we signed Paul Stewart from Tottenham.

I admit it that i am anti hicks and gillett and always was from the start, but like all the other fans said right lets get behind them and the team. Lets give them a chance.

I knew about Hick's teams from america and the fact that he doesnt have a track record of success on the pitch, has been associated with inflated prices and bad relations with the fans.

But this has turned out worse than i thought. They have to go before they really **** us over. If you guys are not sure about hicks then just check out the forums of the other teams that he owns. In addition there are some pretty high profile articles about him and his business model for running franchises - bigger stadiums, more expensive tickets, more expensive merchandise, food and drink - and negotiating higher TV deals.

He makes money for himself but doesnt re-invest this into the team. How could moores and parry have opted for him instead of the DIC bid ?

Just to make things worse he also said that Liverpool was about tradition and history but not necessarily about winning. Just goes to prove he knows nothing about Liverpool Football CLub

I think we know the answer to that mate, it was the higher premium on the price of the shares and the fact they both got to keep their jobs, in one guise or another. Worked out nicely for them/

with parry I could understand - but not david moores.

I know some people blame him for what's happening but I geniunely believe that he didnt look to fill his own pockets and that he took parry's advice on this matter and opted for G+T.

He is like us - a genuine fan of the club and must be absolutely gutted over the current situation.

I think major shareholders told him to look at G&H bid. Once they did that he was oblidged to or risk being sued for the difference. So he had a look and DIC took their bat and ball and went home. Suddenly Moores is left with one bid so he took, rightly or wrongly at the time, their bid because he needed to let it go.

He would be very pissed off IMO.
