I think will push to 10:0 in this game and beat the 8:0 earlier in the season

Happy to meet you somewhere around the ground and give you a Havant scarf to give your lad for his b'day since you'll be out.

Maybe as a kind gesture the Liverpool players could donate their goal scoring bonuses for the game to H&W. Should double the gate receipts.

Jeez Pablo, that might be as much as the gate receipts in itself

It says it all about the romance of the FA Cup when a Primary school football coach will have the chance to go head-to-head with Steven Gerrard when Liverpool entertain Havant and Waterlooville in the FA Cup next Saturday.

It is an opportunity most non-league players can only dream of and one that even fewer will ever realise.

But not for midfielder Jamie Collins.

The Hawks skipper will be pinching himself when he stands face-to-face with the Liverpool legend ahead of kick-off and he admits, it is a moment he wouldn't swap for anything.

"After we beat Swansea, I said I wouldn't give up the privilege of leading the team out at Liverpool if you paid me £1 million, and I stand by every word," he said.

"In the last 20 minutes on Wednesday night, when the pitch was getting heavier and my legs were cramping up, it was the thought of being on that pitch with Gerrard, Torres and Carragher that kept me going.

"The banter has already started among the boys about who is going to swap shirts with Gerrard because 95 per cent of the squad are desperate to be first in the queue.

"We might not get near him for 90 minutes, but when the final whistle goes he could be man-marked by 10 of us, although as captain I should get a head start because I can have a chat when we toss the coin.

"Steve has probably lifted more cups in football than I've had cups of tea, but at least I'll be able to tell Steve what it feels like to lift a trophy at Wembley.

"Just before the old stadium was pulled down, a mate of mine won a competition where you could choose your own team to play one of the last games.

"His team was called Redbridge United, we beat a team from Birmingham 1-0 and got the full Wembley experience."

West Ham fan Collins was a distraught spectator the last time Liverpool came face-to-face with a side close to his heart. On that occasion Gerrard was once again the Reds' saviour, as he hit two stunning goals in the 2006 FA Cup final victory over the Hammers.

It is a moment that still saddens him but one he is willing to forgive should Gerrard offer him a priceless memento when the full time whistle blows.

He joked: "Gerrard broke my heart that day. But in case we don't make it through to the fifth round, if he gives me the shirt off his back at Anfield, we'll call it quits.
Thanks very much for being ‘This Mornings’ Farmer’

Great article. Really chuffed for the H&W lads, it'll be the best day of their careers.

H&W arent ever going to be doing this again, they want to see Gerrard, Torres etc. Their players will want to swap shirts at the end. WHo the **** would want a Voronin shirt? Field a proper side and give our fans a treat with a record score and thier fans a treat of seeing a world class side play thier postmen, window cleaners and car salesman.
and why would we risk our big name player getting injured??

i never even mentioned the bench.. perhaps they could play the second half?

We should respect the competition, and respect H&W, and the fans and play our best team. It's not as if the fixture is being squeezed in. Enough of this rotation/youth player ****e. Get our best players out, get the boys scoring, and build the confidence.

Yeah man, completely agree, for h&w it will be their 1 chance to play against a team like Liverpool, I hope Rafa respects that and puts out a strong team, put the 1st team out then at half time sub them or something.
