Thats not going to happen. If G&H are planning to keep the club (which i don't think they are) then as soon as they feel that they can't keep up the repayments they'd be looking to sell up and providing DIC are still interested then they'd get themselves a bargain. You have to remember that G&H are likely to have had to secure personal assets to the loan and won't want to lose out on that not to mention the profit they could make by selling the club.

We hope that's not going to happen but none of us can say for sure it wont. Even if it doesn't happen how long will it be before G&H are sanctioning the sale of key players to keep up the repayments....NOT LONG!

They are making a difference. Tom and George know that they are not welcome

It won't happen. Leeds' board stood to lose nothing if the club went bust, G&H stand to lose however much they have secured the loan against. Despite what we think of them they're not stupid and if there's a possibility of them not being able to meet the repayments they'll be gone and we'll have no shortage of takers.

As for the sale of players that wouldn't make sense either, without success on the pitch we won't be successful off the pitch. The only way we'll fill a 70k stadium or attract huge sponsorships is if we're doing well on the pitch.

With no confounding evidence or quotes.

Remember the BBC believed that Liverpool would have been taken over soon.

                            Great...

To be fair I honestly do not think the Yanks give a flying **** about what went on during the game last night.

They care about $$$$ Returns and will look to bleed the club dry before selling it off.... all in my opinion of course.
On awaiting Everton's arrival for a derby game at Anfield, Bill Shankly gave a box of toilet rolls to the doorman and said: "Give them these when they arrive – they'll need them!"

Wasn't that obvious when they first came in? They are 'billionaires' Hicks makes money from borrowing and selling at a profit.

Finally caught up with this thread, but still non the wiser over what will happen.

The only thing that seems certain to me is that DIC will bid for the club if G+H can't afford or don't want the re structure of the loan.

I have seen various people say that G+H will definitely get the loan sorted. I have then seen various people say that this would be better for LFC, without really explaining why.

The real key for me is about a possible profit for G+H. I can't see them selling without a profit, but then I can't see why DIC would pay over the odds for the club. They could have bought the club last year at a reasonable price. Can someone explain why they didn't bother sticking it out then? And why return to the table? Guess we'll find out if they manage to take over.

Another thing is this: Whilst I spport the barracking of our owners, I don't know what good it will do. After the reception the Glaziers got in Manchester, I doubt G+H thought it would be plain sailing. Another is that at least Gillet has been abused by fans before, at the Montreal Canadiens. I can tell you, the Canadiens were not happy about a Yank taking over. They value their traditions like us. But they eventually quit their complaining, as did the Mancs.

I'm not sure we will quit the complaining, but I doubt G+H will see it that way. I can't see us being able to bully them out by these tactics. Still, it's all we can do.
                                Forwards.......
