Why the silence from EVERYBODY except Hicks, most notably, his equal partner, George Gillett? Because the pair of them are equal pricks. Hicks is just the louder. Gillette just seems to hide until the bad men go away like a little ****house.

And why, after looking like a corpse for the past few weeks, did the color return to Rafa's cheeks on the day his arch-nemesis strengthened his grip on the club? Because he got over his cold?

All is not what it seems, people.

It's not good because it's rude. It's good because it looks like it's good because it's rude.

There's definitely more going on than meets the eye but I think it's time now to really get behind the side whilst those who are working behind the scenes to get rid of the Yanks continue to do so. Rafa and the players need to start focusing. We need to get on a winning run again. We need to develop a siege mentality and start ripping the sh!t out of all opposition.

          Your probably right on this

I also personally think that DIC will buy out Gillet first of all for his shares of the club and eventually take over the Club when the times right IMO

Only time will tell obviously but, be prepared for big changes in the not to distant future.

Where the fck is gillett in all this.

What kind of 50/50 partnership do these guys have?

I have a business partner and everything we do is unanimously done or it's not done at all.

This guy really needs to come out and say something, anything!

That and why his representative at the press conference couldn't confirm that the club wouldn't be paying back the interest on Kop football's part of the loan. Given how dupliticous they've been in the past that is worrying.

If you read the "inside info" post from RAWK, I don't remember from who but it it's in this thread somewhere, then at the end it says that either DIC or Hicks will soon own the whole club, it don't say anything about Gillett as our future owner.

That points to that he want to sell up.
Just believe and you never know what will happen.

According to Benitez it's important not simply to go out to win but to go out prepared to win, which means players have to put in the same level of work on a daily basis. Anything else is unacceptable.

I am still of the opinion that DIC will still come in for the club, Maybe not now but in the summer. Too many things not quite right with all this for my liking, With Gillette not being around or being mentioned etc. It seems fishy, And its the last thread of hope for me to hold onto.

                      That does make sense alright.

I don't want that big gob having total controll of our club.

Alright lads... anyone heard that Gillett will be releasing his own statement too? Bose said it on 5 Live and we all know Bose is Gillett's ring piece.

I seem to got the "matter of days" thing horribly wrong but it was what I was told by an eminent Journo usually in the right BUT there is no way DIC are walking away without a fight this time.

Finally, he's about to speak. About f*cking time. Do you know if he'll be releasing his own statement today?

There isn't any chance that they will get the club without a fight so if they are even interested in the first place then they must be prepared to do it the dirty way or they simply won't get it.

I've been thinking for a few weeks now that it will come down to unified ownership and it won't be Gillett who ends up in charge. It does make sense, both in itself (easier lines of communication, etc.) and of the goings-on in recent days and weeks (the prominence of Hicks, the disappearance of Gillett).

The fact that Hicks was (seemingly) brought on board late in Gillett's bid for the club suggests to me that his goal all along was to gain total control, knowing that Gillett was not wealthy enough to buy him out rather than the other way round.

Maybe DIC will come in for it but it strikes me that selling out to the first bidder is not how Hicks uses his "sports franchises".

It's all just guesswork and maybe I'll be proved wrong - from an LFC perspective I hope so as I really think Hicks is probably the worst for the club. Having said that DIC wouldn't be a sugar daddy and its affiliations to the Dubai régime make it way less than the perfect owner.
                                .
Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.

May the Lord bless this post.
