Just been mentioned on BBC1. Motson says that he has a source "in the town" that says that the bid has been made. Waiting for reply from laurel & hardy.
The path of the righteous man is beset on all sides by the inequities of the selfish and the tyranny of evil men. Blessed is he, who in the name of charity and goodwill shepherds the weak through the valley of darkness, for he is truly his brother's keeper and the finder of lost children. And I will strike down upon thee with great vengeance and furious anger those who attempt to poison and destroy my brothers and you will know my name is The Lord when I lay my vengeance upon thee. Who could you possibly replace him with?

Balague said on Soccer Satruday this morning if he goes three top clubs will be in the Q to get him. No prizes for guessing who they are.
You can agree with me, or you can be wrong.

Just believe and you never know what will happen.

According to Benitez it's important not simply to go out to win but to go out prepared to win, which means players have to put in the same level of work on a daily basis. Anything else is unacceptable.

Want to get rid of G&H yes. Whether DIC will be better or worse nobody know. Pretty hard to be worse though.

If DIC are interested in buying us because they want to associate the name Liverpool FC with Dubai because of the fame of us that surely that has to be a good thing because they wouldnt want us to be struggling to qualify for the Champs league but to be at the top of league challenging for everything.

DIC are an investment company though and have shareholders to answer to but i cant see how they would be any worse then Gillett and Hicks.

"Sky and Setanta have the right to choose their games and it will be the same for everyone. So Mr Ferguson will not be complaining about fixtures and a campaign against United.

"Or there is another option. That Mr Ferguson organises the fixtures in his office and sends it to us and everyone will know and cannot complain. That is simple."

If DIC are successful then you can bet that Rafa will be given at least one further season to win the EPL - and no doubt with some major backing for transfers. He is the one person who has galvanisd the fans in wishing the current owners out. It would be a PR own goal of Djimi proportions to gain control of the club and move him on.

We were somewhere around Barstow on the edge of the desert when the drugs began to take hold.

How would this bid work then?

If one of Hicks/Gillett reject to sell their shares, would it be possible for DIC to get 50% if the other one wants to accept the bid? Or is it a simple accept or reject process...

I expect to see a further denial of sale from the owners while talking behind the scenes about a bid they will accept. (No hard info - just my take on the way it will go).

Perhaps, or the the price has already been negotiated and the bid accepted for it to become public like this.
                              Hard to tell.

The bid is obviously a concrete one, over to H&G.

Gut feeling is they ill sell but maybe thats wishful thinking.

Hard to understand DIC on this though. If they now think the clubs worht £500m why didn't their bid last year approach this figure. If it had of done we wouldn't be in this current mess.
